So glad Vinnyvania is back but man they bumpered it really awkwardly and the PIP of them was just thrown in.

The Kerbal Quick Look continues the streak of GBeast having very well-prepared QLs. Vinny really knew his stuff.
What does this sentence mean? Me not understanding "bumpered" or "PIP" makes this sentence impossible to understand
edit: I'm guessing it's about the framing and the camera placement on the screen.
I wouldn't be surprised if they're still in the "we're seeing if this breaks" phase.

Yeah the campaign talk finally made me throw my money at Kerbal. I tried it way back when it was just a sandbox and while it showed huge potential back then I can never get anything done in games like that.

PIP is picture in picture, not sure about bumpered, have not watched the vid yet.

Bumpers for 4:3 content, Ie "square" aspect ratio. Instead of having black pillars on the side you can put art bumpers in. For whatever reason though they windowboxed the game, left the bars, and just stuck a bumper on one side.What does this sentence mean? Pip just means picture in picture, ie the window that has Alex and Vinny in it. Just kind of awkward to stick it in the middle of the right side.

bumpered i think is the intro "video thing" sort of thing they do right? and PIP is just picture in picture or camera placement on the output

I am so close to pulling the trigger on Kerbel...
But I just worried I won't be good at it.
I played the game back when it was just a sandbox and I was completely overwhelmed. and barely got something to go into space.
But campaign stuff seems exactly what that game needed. Smaller tangible goals.

I remember fucking loving the Boondock Saints in high school and haven't watched it since, so I'm pretty sure it's actually bad.
I had the same fear about Donnie Darko but rewatched it last year and still loved it. It's great when things you loved as a teenager turn out to actually be great but it's somewhat rare. personal growth~~

Yep, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Straight up endorses religious vigilante-ism. Replace Catholicism and two white guys with Islam and two middle eastern men and the public perception of the film would be much much different.
Never mind that the writing is absolute dog shit and writer/director is a talentless hack.

I own a copy of Boondock Saints because I was dating a girl who bought a copy and brought it over to my place to watch. she (we) hated it so much that she just left it at my place and told me to do whatever I wanted with it, and I just never bothered to get rid of it

Goddamn. I consider myself to be pretty desensitized but the pipe kills in the old blood is really grossing me out. Especially when they add that little detail of blood gushing out of the other end after you stabbed them.

The New Order has some of the most wonderfully savage melee encounters. I guess that's not hugely surprising considering this is from many of the people responsible for Escape from Butcher Bay. The pipe is just nasty as hell though, probably more so than the knife in TNO.

The most hilarious thing in The Old Blood is how stupidly useful they make the pipe in this game. Basically every interaction requires the pipe. The pipe is the actual protagonist and BJ is just the tool carrying it around.
I don't know if that is intentional but I found that just hilarious.

Jeff should play some more Trackmania Stadium or Valley one of these days. Had a fixing for madness so I started up Stadium and good lord that game is still crazy fun.
Wasn't really feeling VinnyVania this time, Simon's Quest is not a very interesting game to watch. Looking forward to Rondo though.
Still waiting on more regular premium features from GB Prime, especially one with Jeff that doesn't involve jars. Or Bloodborne. Maybe he and Dan could do video reviews of movies starring wrestlers and call it WANG.
Or just bring back Breaking Brad. Tie Fighter full playthrough with HOTAS let's go.

Everyone should buy Kerbal. Fantastic game.
I still enjoyed Vinnyvania but it'll get much better once we move off of this game.
