I still gotta finish last week's podcast. Now that I'm on break I've been playing so many games. Bought Witcher 1 and 2 for 5 bucks a couple of weeks ago and all this Witcher 3 hype is really motivating me to play it after I finish Devil Survivor 2.

I took the whole week off. Gonna spend the week at my parent's summer house in the south of the country totally fucking up my sleep schedule and go out fishing when there's no GB content. A really nerdy vacation all things considered.

I miss it for sure.
I live a life of socialism (five weeks of paid vacation here in Norway, bro). Because of my line of work I never get to take all those weeks and have to work a ton to be able to take this week off, but I can't complain at all compared to how especially Americans have it with vacation time.

Might as well use them on something stupid.
I like the two goalie idea, but it should be one from each team. While the rest of the team is having their jog, those two have to fight it out to see who gets control of that goal.

I was originally going to change my working from home day so that staying up to watch the conference streams wouldn't kill me, but at this point I'll probably just hide from spoilers for the early morning stuff and watch the archives on my commute.

Yeah I really hope Bethesda have been looking at New Vegas and Alpha Protocol, the Witcher and Pillars of Eternity and realised they need to up their writing game. I doubt it, but I fucking hope so.

Thing is Roche is simply fighting to preserve a dying feudal state. Why should I particularly care whether Temeria lives or not? What reasoning does Roche give for it beyond "it's where I'm from".
However, Iorveth definitely gives reasoning for his fight. Upper Aedirn; a realm where humans, elves, dwarves whatever, live together in peace and as equals. He doesn't hate humans, he simply hates the systemic discrimination of nonhumans by men. He's even keen to let a human lead his idea state (or what he thinks is a human).
And we know he's serious; we literally see his dreams and see he desires to live in peace and freedom. His guerrilla campaigns aren't what he really wants.

the problem with this particular logo though is that the ッ looks like ツ and the only way to "fix" that would be to exaggerate the size difference, which screws up the logo

Remember you can play Witcher 1 like Diablo by changing the cameras if you want that.
Also remember to save frequently in Witcher 1 as IIRC it doesn't autosave much

That's kinda why his movement is so odd. Geralt can move extremely fast going forward and backward but side to side is tedious.
They added the over the shoulder view because of the immersion factor pretty late in development.

He definitely has the better motives but Roche is super cool. I saw him kick through a bridge once, just so he could punch a dude and I've seen him throw his long sword 20 feet and kill a man.
