In school, the trick was to have a mate brave/dumb enough to buy everyone The Sport. There's no actual age restriction on that, but the newsagent knew most of the parents so it wasn't worth the risk. If he didn't have the bottle that day, it meant cycling 20 minutes to another one because your mate's brother swears Elizabeth Hurley has her tits out in today's paper.
Finding porn in the woods wasn't always guaranteed, unfortunately.

this was the 90s, so my friends and I also did a good deal of tape dubbing for popular parental advisory stickered albums for others. Downward Spiral was a big one.
