I mean even Jeff liked bloodborne.
Most of the cast has finished bloodborne.
He didn't like the witcher 3.
Quite a number of the cast are nowhere near finishing the witcher 3.
So if we're going to talk about a game barely making it to top 10...
I don't know why anyone gets mad or puts that much thought into GB GOTY when Bradgate has shown it's just a joke of who can argue the longest without having to take a breath.
Like if you didn't stop caring last year, I don't know how you can still care.

GOTY is my favourite time of the year for GB content, but that's because of the podcasts, the videos, the lista. I don't care at all about what ends up on the GOTY list. I enjoy the speculation though.Glitchesarecool

Nah there was plenty of goty talk last year. I remember because it was always met with "why are you guys talking about goty already its only _____"

In terms of Giant Bomb's GOTY feature, you're right.
In terms of games, it was pretty shit. Dishonored was basically the only thing I particularly liked.

I'm just straight up letting people know their levels are shit now. Any level that's outright bad, I throw up a comment.
there's a way to comment without giving a star btw, apparently leaving the comment via your 'levels played' list or something makes it possible

I'd rather play random levels than be a complete rube and buy Amiibos.
Speaking of which, I asked this in the OT but it got buried by people shilling their wares: Is it possible to get the Big Mushroom without getting the 30th Anniversary Amiibo (which is already more than twice its MSRP thanks to Nintendo's classic supply bullshit)? I was pretty happy with how the Amiibo stuff was handled, but if the only one you can't unlock is the only one that effects gameplay, that entirely changes my opinion.

Same here, that game went from a great time to a compete chore for me. Still haven't completed it. I can see how it's amazing if you like the world and the characters, but I just can't stand Geralt.
Edit: Gwent would probably be on my top ten though.
It's a lot of money if you only want to watch the Bombcast. I can pay for two months of Netflix with that.
Dan still said that it would probably be a top 5 game for him just now.

it sounds circlejerk-y but i'm not kidding when i recommend gaffer levels over everything else. on average, there's just a base line of quality here that i haven't seen anywhere else
as for the mega mushroom, i don't think you can freely use it without the amiibo. you can try the following, though (this is just a random idea so would be cool if you could confirm this): try downloading a stage that has a mega mushroom in it, then edit everything out except for the mega mushroom. you might be able to use it for your own design now. let me know if you test this out.

Yeah. MBMBaM and the Adventure Zone also being included makes it an easy purchase for me. I'm not sure if I would spend $20 for just the Bombcast though.

Also, aren't you unable to upload stages if they started from a downloaded level?
ah, you're probably right. in the grand scheme of things, i find the mega mushroom a very inessential item, tbh. not too many good uses for it.
anyway, the stages i assembled on page 1 are definitely worth playing. punching in a code takes five seconds.

Just start from the beginning with both. Adventure Zone is one long story with smaller chapters, and current stuff is referencing things from the start of the run.
MBMBAM is more stand-alone, but you'll like it enough to listen to them all, it's more fun if you listen to them in order.

I'm with you when it comes to the item not being this amazing, vital thing, but I want the option to use it, God damn it.
This may be a bit too much work, but you should consider making another NNID and starring all the levels you featured on the OT on it. People could follow that account on SMM for a makeshift playlist of the best levels.

The game I'm worried about not getting enough attention come GOTY is Her Story. Such an incredible experience that only takes a few hours, but nobody from GBWest seems to have played it and it likely won't break the top 10.
Witcher 3 likely won't get as high as it would seem it should, but it'll definitely get in the top 5.
My rough prediction:

3. Fallout 4 (They always love Bethesda stuff, especially Brad)
