Robomodo has no excuses. They are legit a bad developer who know nothing about the original games and why they worked. It's not even just a 'it's glitchy' it's 'you don't understand how combos work and why the Neversoft games felt and functioned the ways they felt and functioned'

I don't think Skylanders is the cash cow that justifies throwing studios at the dlc fire. At least not any more.

Well, the Skylanders devs made Star Control 2, which is one of the best games of all time, so probably yeah.

Looking at the credits to Ghosts on Mobygames, it seems like a lot of people I remember from early THPS games worked on it.

Vicarious Visions has made the GBA Tony Hawk games, so they already have made better Tony Hawk games than Robomodo.
THPS5 seems like a game they'll drag out 10 years later on UPF so we can all laugh at it, like Beverly Hills Cop on the PS2.

I live very, very close to Infinity Ward / Neversoft. I constantly see people with NS shirts and bags at the nearby coffee shop or at the bus stop. I kind of want to ask them their thoughts on THPS5. And sincerely thank them if they were involved in THPS3 or 4. Those games were responsible for so many hours of fun back in the day.
