When you see the set from the other side, it's kind of nuts how open it is

I bet they had fun wrapping those cables. Several times.

lol Drew with the gloves, of course. That just makes total sense somehow.

Axiom Verge wears out it's welcome very rapidly. It' a solid few hours that quickly falls into the same gameplay loop as other games in the genre.

This was my experience with Axiom Verge, I enjoyed it for quite a while and then hit a point where I just did not want to continue anymore. It's weird because Symphony of the Night is one of my favourite games ever, and SOMA is one of my favourite games of this year. Axiom Verge is a combination of those two and it's well done, but I dunno, I got bored of it.

Oh shit. I totally forgot Transformers came out this year. Think I might grab it for ~$30 on the Steam sale. Console versions might hit $25 on Black Friday, but I would much rather have PC.

Autumn sale is underwhelming as usual, but I think I'll walk out with Transformers and Tales from the Borderlands. A step up from the last few years of coming out with nothing.

Really looking forward to hearing Austin elaborate on his views on XBCX. I got it preordered from Amazon.fr for a frankly ridicously good price but I'm a little worried it'll be like an offline MMO.

Also, totally off-topic, but this thread is probably my most regular social venue outiside of my direct family, so fuck it. Just ran 45 minutes straight today and I've now lost 50 pounds from when I started in early September thanks to motivation from Danswers. Feeling really proud of myself and ready to eat stupid amounts of food tomorrow.

Congrats, man! 50 pounds in two months is incredible!

Bosses die real nice in Axiom Verge

Anyone play Lisa? Bought the complete pack for six dollars, I like what I read about losing body parts based on your decisions. Ie, losing an arm and becoming scarred and so on.

And I always wear gloves while moving large quantities of boxes, it's incredibly easy to cut yourself on the corners.

It took them 3 days to take the set apart.

Therefore it will take them 3 days to put it back together once they move down stairs.

Thats totally how that works right?
Im Kidding.

Curious what the new set up is going to be. A actual studio sounds a bit fancy for my tastes. I wonder if their desks will be in the middle of cubicle city or will they have their own space. So many questions! I hope we get a new office tour video.

The Beastie Boys are the first hip hop group in years to have something to say
I love moving/setting up stuff. I could understand not liking it as a regular thing, but a once-off "throw the normal schedule out the window, let's spend a few days moving" thing sounds exciting to me.

I like how Jason is another Jeff in regards to the crazy shit he has seen/done and experienced and i would definitely be cool with hearing more (providing he feels like sharing).

So I'm watching the Game Grumps play Mario Party 10, and good lord that game is so different compared to say, 5. I wonder how the GB crew will....react to it..

Yaoi is so boring too. It's like porn which is 90% setup.

that's most ero stuff. they love their tension. or it's just rapey.

I watched a j-drama that handled a random, ill-advised hookup in a realistic way (Mondai no aru Restaurant) and I was floored because that never happens.

show was fantastic btw

Xenoblade X ?

Kerbal Feature?

Seems Beast is going in with the supplements until SF is back on track.

and the actual Just cause 3 QL is nice to see (sorry Vinny)

also congrats Jim on that weight loss and now the next step is keeping it off.

GBeast Kerbal Series! I remember Vinny mentioned he wanted to do it way back when. I cannot wait. That is a god damn special game. I wish I would have delved deeper myself. The things you can do. I'd love to see it become the Oregon Trail of today, though it's about 100 times more complex.

Jebediah Kerman may die in many ways, but dysentery is not one of them.

I found it funny how, in the Bombcast, Brad said something along the lines of the following about Devil's Third: "Almost all the talk has been all negative, but I feel like it's all based on speculation."
Dude, game has been out in Europe for like two months now. The jury isn't even out anymore. We know this one pretty well. :p
I did not know that game was out here.

I get the excitement, but the actual act is crappy. It feels good to get things set up again though.

Maybe it will make them actually keep their office space relative clean and not organized like a dump. Or have a message saying don't send us your garbage in the mail.

I was curious about Axoim Verge, but SuperBunnyhop's review made it sound really middling, and I typically see eye-to-eye with him on things. That and I'm still not entirely sure if I really like Metroidvania's or just feel like I should. I've never beaten a game in that style before.

September of this year? That's a crazy amount of weight to lose that fast, wow! I'm down a similar amount but I started literally a year before you! Congrats!
