Yeah, it`s really cool that someone took it upon themselves to finish a Best Of of the P4 ER.
Heh yeah, but it`s true that they rarely do reviews for really long games anymore, unless it`s something one of them really wants to play (Dan with Stardew Valley, and I`m guessing Austin will review Stellaris for example). Which is fine by me.

Tumblr is the source and gathering place of many sfm artists, so it is unavoidable to see something indecent. We can't escape that no more.

Most artists have a sideblog that's specifically for porn, and if you don't want porn appearing in your tag searches, you can just turn on the adult content filter.

Oh, I don't have a Tumblr. I'm just talking in general since all kinds of artists are there. However, since there is something to lock that content off that's good unless the filter itself doesn't do a good job when you're browsing a tag.

Gungeon is starting to get on the level of "fuck this fucking game" now, the part where I haven't mastered the mechanics yet and I'm still getting my ass handed to me by the first bosses.

I have had this game day 1 and still didn't finish it but got to level 5 a couple of times. The key is to keep buying shit from the breach shop so you could have much more better items in the pool. Sometimes the randomness like any rogue like reaches "fuck you" levels certainly.

re: Gungeon, I'd also recommending saying fuck all to saving up for the shortcuts unless you really want the item unlocks/achievements. I've "beaten" it six times and I've yet to use the shortcuts since it's not worth all the money and items you skip over (the game comps you a free gun on the deeper shortcuts, but not enough).

Any tips besides playing for a few hours? I keep playing everyday for 40 minutes to an hour because I don't feel like I could play it for long with restarting the first chamber fuck tons of times.

Don't know why I'm under the impression Robo-dinosaurs got delayed to 2017.
Currently, Hitman can very well be it based on the beta. I bought it and am waiting for further levels to jump in. I imagine if Deus Ex 4 is as good as Deus Ex 3, that'd be it. Then there's Dishonored 2. Persona 5 if it comes stateside. Zero Time Dilemma. Lots of sequels to games I loved. Dark Souls III is quality Dark Souls. Overwatch is dope.

That's been my approach -- I usually play a session right when I get home but rarely more than one, since when you get to the point where you're consistently making deep runs one life usually takes at least 40 minutes. Gun knowledge is important, in terms of just knowing what's good, what's bad, and what's "cool" but rarely worth it (the lower-case r, while funny, is terrible). That can help you use gun munchers and shop smartly. Any active item that gives you temporary invincibility is always worth it. Also, there are a few items that will let you steal from the shops (most of them are things that make you invisible or charm enemies, e.g. the charm horn).

Galak-Z continues to be the biggest unreported travesty in gaming. Holy shit. So they released their big promised content patch the other day, but instead of adding Season 5 as they promised when the game was released, they added leaderboards, daily challenges and an endless mode and called it a day. Their trailer even made a joke about 'oh, you expected Season 5?' What the fuck? Not finishing your damn game is nothing to joke about.
Just going from that trailer, I guess Season 5 is never coming? Boy that game's trajectory still sucks so bad. I've never felt so damn abused and misled as a consumer. 17-Bit has pretty much lost a customer. I hope releasing an unfinished project was worth it.

Duct tape is amazing! I combined the Gungeon Eagle with the Sling and created a slow but insanely damaging death machine that sliced through every boss in 10 or so shots.

The Twilight Struggle QL was cool. I've always wanted to get into that game and it looks daunting but doable. And the Drew + Austin combo was as great as expected.
