That's why I main Lucio. Not a fan of hero-switch, even though it's integral to the game, but Lucio is good in every situation.

Go S76 when I feel like killing. Also good in most situations.

First pick, I'll go Lucio but usually type something like "any other healers?" in the chat if nobody else picked yet. I can play him ok, but, I'm learning (only now just starting to consistently get some kills and break a good healing score per match)

If ignored (99.99% of the time I am) on that question, then I'll stick w/ Lucio.

If team is mostly constructed well with a healer already (not a support, Symmetra I'll still pick Lucio), putting a Pharah or a Junkrat into the mix depending on map is usually my next move. Rein I don't mind either. S76 only if all 4 of those are already taken somehow. I have plenty of heroes I've never played a second with though.

I haven't played Overwatch so I'm not completely sure how it works, but heroes are split up into categories right? If your team needs a hero from a specific category isn't it better to play as the one you're best at rather than one who might fit a bit better but you're much worse at?
Genji, Tracer, and Reaper are flankers
McCree is an anti-flanker
76 is a front-lines push the cart/escort the tank and heals character
Pharah is an aerial firing from above character

Different heroes in the same role serve very different purposes. On top of that, Winston counters Tracer and Genji hard. If you are playing flanker and the enemy team has two Winstons, it would be very dumb of you to play Tracer or Genji. You would want to play Reaper. Unless you like smelling gorilla ass.
Plus some people don't care about team composition and are just going to pick the character they have fun playing as.
And that's an extremely bad way to play this game and what leads to 5 Hanzos on your team. If you're too selfish to not play someone fulfilling the role and instead only want to play your fave, why should I be any different?

excuse you

I'm the best reaper in the west, I'm always going to pick reaper no matter what. If you need heals that's too bad kid, I'm going to be killing them so fast that you won't even get hit. Nothing personnel, it's just how deadly I am.

Like I said I haven't played Overwatch so i didn't know the heroes within a category were that specialized. I guess that's because there are way more than TF2.

I'm not saying that's a good way to play, I'm just saying that if you're playing with random people at some point you're going to end up on a team where everyone wants to be a sniper.

Said fuck it and sideloaded Pokemon Go. The character customization options are trash man..

Edit: aaaand the servers are busted.

Having "played" Pokemon GO for a couple of months, it doesn't have anything you want in a Pokemon game. In fact, it'd be hard to even call it a game.

I don't know how you lasted that long. I made it 10 minutes today before realizing there wasn't actually jack shit to do in it

Don't crush me like this..say something positive about it now.

Try it out for yourself, for sure, but it was also disappointing for me too.

Catching Pokemon: just chuck Pokeballs until it happens, no weakening them (in fact, no battling wild Pokemon at all).

Evolving Pokemon: Since there is no battling wild Pokemon, you need to catch dozens of duplicates to get enough items to evolve them.

"Battling": Not real time, tap on your pokemon to attack, with a single numeric value representing a Pokemon's power.

Pokémon Go has precisely nothing I enjoy about the Pokémon series.

It'll probably make billions.

It doesn't even have actual live battling between people right? It's basically just territory control?

I really hope it flops. Or someone at the Pokemon Company realizes that they had a goldmine on their hands and changes the game to match the mainline series.

They're more specialized but not nearly so restrictive as Data posted. Toblerones usually do very well for themselves if they play like Battle Engies and get headshots, but they're also effective if they're watching their turret and tossing armor to everyone. Pharah basically does what the Soldier did except she can hover--she can be very defensive or offensive depending on the team and the player.

After hating on Toblerone back in beta

I actually like him alot

His weapon is really, really good. His turret is nice, but it's simply a Bastion you put down. HIs weapon is amazing.

Wrong about commas, wrong about everything

Playing against 4 of those guys is a pain in the ass on some levels. I don't understand why this is even allowed.

For normal play, team comp >>>>> actual skill.

The characters are simplistic enough that you should be able to play everyone without much trouble. Obviously at the high level, skill actually has a lot more significance, but taking Data's example, a good Winston will still have a lot of difficulty dealing with an average Reaper who understands their role.

You just have to hope you find a variety of the characters fun, otherwise you might run into the issue some people do where they only enjoy 1-3 characters and end up being a liability when they don't want to switch.

So I been thinking, what are the odds we see a Hyrule Warriors 2 on the NX launch or is that too much Zelda? With the last bit of DLC getting out, I have to imagine that was a good partnership between the two. Either that or we see it about a year after Breath of the Wild launches in the interim period.

Straight-edge, which really isn't even a thing for the past 10 years. At least the surrounded by X's thing.
