The weekly format actually works pretty well because the games styled themselves as a TV serial.

I think you're really right about that. It's fantastic in weekly chunks. I wanted it much faster, but I worry I would have burnt out on it.

I want them to actually do more episodes per week mostly because at the rate they're going it's going to take fucking forever and they would be free to stream other games once they get this over with.

Late Shift can definitely be a GBE Playdate. It's basically an interactive movie but there is a lot of choice freedom. I've played it three times and have discovered a lot of different scenes. Trophies are a nice touch too.

Man...between the Drew meme and all the stuff with Dan and his Taco Bell celebrity...life is really fucking strange.
It is compared to persona 4 for me. The gameplay is better, but the story is pretty bad and even the characters aren't as engaging. Mokoto was pretty much the only character I liked .

persona 5 is a retread of 2, 3, and 4. Same formula, same beats, same alot of things.
Not to mention it's still archaically grindy.
