As expected Arms turned out to have a fun core, but end up being too light on the content side. I think I'll still get it. It's not like there is much going on until Splatoon 2.

Semi-coherent rant time; I've been with GB for years, as many here have, and I just gotta say how much I appreciate the content they create, and their overall place in the industry in regards to attitudes. Going into E3, I love that I can rely on some of the best content available. It's really the only site, and community, that I feel genuinely proud to be a part of (Easy Allies is pretty dope too though). The rate at which they seem to just fart out genuinely good and fun content is crazy, with segments like Demo Derby, Game Tapes, Mario party Party, etc. Comparatively speaking, other outlets out there just look to have to try so fucking hard, and it shows.

If there's one thing Giant Bomb has, it's an identity. That's never more true than each new hire; it may take a long time to get there, but Jeff/Vinny and the team will do whatever it takes to bring someone onto the team who gels, and brings something new to the table that's undeniably Giant Bomb.

Anywho! Just wanted to give them a shout out, as they head in to one of their busiest (and my favorite) times of year.

Given this spotify playlist stuff, there is like a near zero chance of Jeff's 2017 E3 drive ending up on GBU

The core being good was all i hoped for, as long as I can play against AI in an arcade mode type thing it will be worth it for me.

If they support it like they supported Splatoon, we'll be just fine.

You mean the
Moon Army?
yeah, I think some clips in Mark Brown's recent Dead Space video series might be the only time I've ever seen it

The first part of Dead Space 3 when you're actually in space was all right but everything else was terrible.

I think I accidentally stumbled upon the best way to play Dead Space 3. I went solo for the first half with all the derelict ships, aside from the copypasta side areas it was fairly authentic Dead Spacing.

By the time I got to the ice planet, my friend had caught up to around where I was and we co-oped the rest of it. That's around when weapon balance goes full Borderlands and the game gets real stupid. So it became more like watching a cheesy sci fi movie with a buddy. Even had some fun with that godawful mountain climbing part, which we dubbed the aggro crag. It took us forever to get past that shit.

So are those Dissidia games any good or is it all fan service?
I played the first one (or maybe it was DUODECIM) way back when and I thought it was kinda bad, but I've never really liked any of those "3D lock-on arena" fighter types so idk

some good music at least

It's fine, but I think no matter what you're coming to it for there are better options. If you want a 3D Arena fighter, play Gundam VS. If you want a better game with better FF Fanservice than go with XIV.

Bought Tekken 7. Excited to jump in later today.
Huh.
I thought most people would go A2 first. :p

But yeah you can finished it pretty quickly from there.

Yeah I went with
A2
first. Mostly because I wanted a change from
9S
.

Time to watch!
That dude thanks you! I'm the host of the podcast and finally got this NeoGAF account. You guys are all great.

Does this look good to you guys? Does it need to be bigger? SunhiLegend, the guy who posts all those really good game gifs bestowed some knowledge onto me

Looks good to me.

They are like a shittier version of the Gundam VS games. If you are interested in that style of fighter wait for the new one of that instead. The Japanese beta of Gundam VS was already aces.

which anime games in this anime bundle are good anime?

Root Double and World End Economica for sure. I think people like the Fault games as well. Narcissu is a well liked, but depressing one. I think most of the rest are either porn games with the 18+ content taken out because they're steam editions or just bad like Memory's Dogma

The physical edition of the Wipeout collection is pretty neat, it has a faux-PS1 cover (even if it's just a sleeve).

Wasn't expecting that when I picked it up, cool surprise.

Mike Mahardy reminds me of that dude from a meme / gif that's making a weird face while either crying or saying "whaaaat?" or "nooo" or whatever it was. Might be from some tv show.

I just realized how useless this description is.
