I love DM but Hardwired is so much better. Halo on Fire and Spit out the bone are probably Top 10 Metallica for me.

Spit out the bone is one of the best songs they did in a decade or so. Everything is on point, especially Hetfield's vocals.

Both have their good and bad points but I think Hardwired edges it for the songs above.


But if someone wanted to say they felt they where equals I would fight them over it even if I think DM kinda lacks personality and felt more like Metallica decided they needed to be default, no weird shit, safe as fuck Metallica.
