I recommend the last 30 or so minutes, maybe a little more than that. That's when they're at the lowest point and fighting the final boss.

Visiting Gamespot, it's pretty crazy that they still do the "Top 5 Skyrim Mods of the Week" feature. Says something about how big the modding community for Bethesda games is, I guess.

Also, Random PC Game: Crusader: No Remorse is such a great video. It also contains one of the best Vinny quotes: "I think you have to go out in style, Frodo Baggins this motherfucker."

Yeah, it's nuts. That game never left Steam's top sellers. It's been on page 3 or 4 for like 3 years now, unless there's a sale in which case it goes back to number one.

There's also a super gross channel on youtube that still gets hundreds of thousands of views, just showing creepy softcore porn mods. Fun stuff!

Around Christmas 2011 I honestly said to myself that Skyrim had to be going out of the top sellers list soon because at the rate it was going, everyone on Steam mathematically had to have the game at some point.

Of the top 10 most popular games on gamefaqs Skyrim has 2 slots and is the 2nd most popular 360 and pc game and 3rd ps3 game.

I still have never played an Elder Scrolls game. I keep meaning to try one, but I heard that they're super buggy and extremely long, which is an awful combination for me.

It's not so buggy that you can't play it, as long as it's not the ps3 version. Most of the length comes from side stuff. The main quest is something like 6 hours if that is what you want to focus on.

I guess 6 hours isn't TOO bad, but it's still a bit longer than I want to play right now.

You should have an entire free day before you start playing one (which should be Skyrim, honestly). You won't want to stop.

You can. Its great fun. You can dip in and out of it for short stints, and get stuff done and make progress over days and weeks.

I think I saw you in the WWE Supercard thread, which is a game you could play infinitely, get nowhere, and have no fun doing it.. Skyrim feels like it has infinite scope, but at least what you are doing is more fun that getting a common Kofi Kingston. If you have time for Supercard, you have time for something else.

I just realised I played almost 2000 games of Supercard, and feel bad. Well, at least I am close to my second Super Rare Paige.

Yeah, good idea even if it got a bit old after a few minutes

Anyways, going back through a few Random PC Games and stumbled upon Daggerfall. It has over 1200 comments, and I wondered why. Turns out it's one of the first Premium videos, and maybe the first "Quick Look style video of an old game" to go behind the paywall. If anyone's interested to see what kind of backlash there was against Premium in the start, I recommend that comment section :p
