ADS completely changes the flow of combat, but they already screwed it up so much in Halo 4 that it doesn't really matter.

The panicking and freaking out over 20 seconds total of grainy clips that looked like they were recorded on Motorola RAZR is what is getting to me. You cannot judge a whole game on 5 seconds clips. There is obviously more to the game that just though, so change should not auto be seen as terrible.
Mass panic and aggressive comments at the company involved is not the right way to go about things

I really liked motion control shooting (IR not motion + aiming) but turning was still very awkward when tending the cursor towards the end of the screens. It was still superior (in most regards) than stick aiming.

Based on that clip you can very much assume that sprint and ADS will be in the game, sure there is more to the game than that but that change is a pretty big one. Obviously you shouldn't be a dick when expressing your disappointment to 343 but at the same time I think that reaction is earned.

Going back and relistening to guest podcasts from 08-10 is amazing. I was on a road trip last year or the year before and ended up listening to the Boyes/Vignocchi story cast again and it was even more amazing as you guys said. It's really cool to see where they've come. I mean I watched that Age of Booty video not that long ago for the first time since it came out. Absolute madness thinking about it haha.

I really wish I could find an archive of the Boyes/Vignocchi road trip to e3 live stream from years back. Was such a great mix of hilarity and industry knowledge - you guys would love it. Someone out there must have a copy.

Suddenly I'm now not able to watch videos on the site. Progressive and Streaming has never worked for me, but HTML5 worked perfectly until today. Now the HTML5 player just stops 5 minutes into a video. Hope this is just temporary, don't wanna download every Premium video from now on.

Why not ? You'd get better playback with a local player and you could even watch the videos on your TV with Universal Media Server.

Watching the Xboxalypse stream on Giant Bomb Unarchived. This is one of the first GB videos I remember watching. I feel so old.
The download speed from the site is so up and down for me. Several times it has just slowed down to a crawl. I would at least like to have the option of watching videos on the site.

If the download speed is unreliable, shouldn't that be an argument in favor of downloading the video on your hard drive ? I mean, when you're streaming the video, you're actually downloading it in cache files. You might as well download it in a readable format and have a consistent enjoyable experience. It must be extremely frustrating watching a stream that constantly stops and hitches.

Well, normally videos on the site have been smooth for me, no stopping and hitching. But I guess you're right. Still would like the option of watching on the site though.

W-what. I was at their PAX panel in 2008 where we were just in some corner of a hall. Vivid memories of them opening the panel with the Too Human video.
That was my first exposure that Jeff and co. launched a new site.

Their reaction to the end of Beyond Two Souls is still one of the greatest moments I think they've ever had.
Plus they're the reason I even know about GB so there's that.

Try watching Giant Bomb videos on your TV through your PS3 or 360 by using Universal Media Server. It's incredibly simple: you start the program and it works. Once I started doing this, there was no going back. I just lay on my bed and watch Metal Gear Scanlon in complete comfort.
