Ah, nice, haha. Yeah, I'm just relistening to GOTY stuff like I do every year around this time. Figured I'd start a little earlier since I'll have to factor in the '13 stuff.

I can't wait for this year's cast. It's become one of the things about the holidays that I'm looking forward to the most, just that period leading up to NYE. As a result, they have that time of the year sort of attached to them, they manage to evoke part of that holiday spirit, no matter when I listen to them.

I'm glad they turned it off. Moderating YT comments is something Rorie has done, and he obviously doesn't have the time to do it. Some ugly, ugly shit has been left in the comment section under different videos for months now. So good riddance.

I don't understand why people would waste their time watching and commenting on those videos when they're clearly not interested in them. It's like a more extreme version of the people here on GAF who open a thread only to post "I don't care". Who has time for that?

Is that what I'm seeing pictures of where the face models look like horrific abominations? If so, yes. Yes, they do need to mess with it. I haven't kept up with this game because I gave up on buying that series two years ago.

I suppose they'll get me with WWE 2K15 though because I'm a sucker who doesn't deserve integrity.

oh, they're adding the daily challenge to the console version too? that might get me back playing it again, at least until BoI:R comes out next month

Just finished MGS2 and now, like Dan, I can't wait for Metal Gear Scanlon to start up again if only so we can witness how Drew responds to the latter half of that game.

Among the many many seemingly endless topics that are brought up during the game the conversation about junk data felt particularly pertinent given the direction the internet has been moving in lately.

Also here's a remix of 'Can't Say Good Bye To Yesterday' in the vein of Portishead.

I play most days, lately I haven't been ghost mining as seriously as I used to. Is there something special about today's seed or something that I haven't heard about?

I play most days as well and recently my leaderboards started bugging out a bit. None of my friends show up on the daily challenge leaderboards anymore, even though I know they are playing. All other leaderboards are normal. Ever encountered this? Playing on Vita...

I heard some hearsay about it being an issue with some folks still having not updated their firmware yet or something to that effect. At any rate I haven't experienced this issue on my Vita.

It sucks the comment section for Bombing in the AM is always a shit show but on the plus side if youtube views are anything to go by those shows are consistantly the lowest viewed peices of GB content every week so at least some people are subscribing to the idea of "I dont like it so I wont watch it".


Also interested in seeing what they think of DriveClub later. I mean we all know what they will think of it since that game has been a bit of a running joke with Jeff and the crew but I want to know.... if anything makes that game special other then being the first racing game in 50 years to not have a racing line.

It is a podcast after all, I would say the majority who consume Bombing in the AM in some way don't do it on Youtube.

Though the more popular (for comments at least) version on the website is the video version, rather than the podcast.

If you are looking at viewing figures for bombing in the am on youtube make sure to add the ones from Patricks channel to GBs, since Patricks is the live version. It is still lower than the other videos but that is to be expected since they don't play any games it is just talking and no other videos on the channel do that so it's hard to compare.
