Over what?
There was some speculation that the 3 week delay for the release outside of JPN was due to needing more time to finish the translations, which is clear now that isn't the reason.
Over what?
Meltdown commencing in the Dark Souls 3 Import thread. You can play the english version right now via Xbox One if you purchase it through the JPN store. So the english translation is already done as of now.
I wouldn't want to be a ruler in the Dark Souls universe. Turns out bad stuff happens to you.
Over what?
That would not work, really.I'd love to see a Souls game set in a world that isn't completely fucked already. Give me whole cities of NPCs going about their normal lives, questing out to dungeons and more dangerous areas.

What version are they playing?
Oh boy.
There's this game called Dragon's Dogma that might be right up your alley, then

Can't watch at work. Does it seem rough?

So what if there's a delay? I mean, how is it any different from other games with staggered territory releases?
Oh right I forgot we're in the world of instant gratification and it's a Souls game.
Though in DD I think it is a bit generous to call the NPCs "people".
Don't recommand bad games
when did i do that?
Dragon's Dogma is a bad game for bad people.
The hilarious thing is that Demon's Souls came out like a year or so after its Japanese release (which, too, was pretty much entirely translated with just a few errors needing corrections) and it wasn't like it hurt the series and/or the game in any sort of way.
People need to chill the fuck out, surely bamco has their reasons for the release date chosen and if that bothers you so much you now live in a world where Amazon ships shit out of japan and you can also buy stuff digitally from the console's japanese stores, too.
only people who might feel left out over this is PC gamers but, hey, they're already used to Dark Souls games coming out with a delay so this is nothing new for them anyhow
They found a fun way to play the game, I don't think Brad would enjoy it as much playing alone.Brad and Dan are very forgiving towards the new Hitman compared to the Game Informer guys. Usually it's the other way around.
Isn't there a big zeitgeist element to the Souls games, though? The way people treat the games always gave me this Fez-lite vibe, where every aspect of the game has the chance to surprise people. I'm not saying the fervor's justified, but it's totally understandable. Also, your Demon's Souls point doesn't really work since that was the first game in the series, so there wasn't this huge following the games have now.

I get a little hitch every 30 secs.
Well then I don't want to be good people.Dragon's Dogma is a bad game for bad people.
i dunno, maybe it's because the story and world building stuff in a DS game is like the story in porn for me: im not coming to those games because i want to know more about the downfall of Anor Rondo or what Havel and Ornstein were up to before they got their kewl armor or anything. I just want to wreck shit and i don't really care about what the premise behind these games is, i just love the way they play.
That's pretty much my attitude on games as a whole. If a game's story is good, which they typically aren't, I consider it a bonus. I'm here for the gameplay, first and foremost.
