Go go go! :)

I will go hiking with you one day :p

Old puppies at vets is hard. It's always a little scary. Let us know how it goes <3

It should be snug as in your band should be supporting you, not the straps. So...it should lay flat and horizontally, shouldn't slide, shouldn't ride up or down, it should stay put. It also shouldn't dig in, though :D Pull it tight when measuring, because you want to buy a bra that is snug on the first hook, because it will loosen over time anyway.

:)
Girl I will take you hiking and you take me bra shopping. I feel like I need some expert help in this matter and you sound like a total pro.

Deal!

I try lol. Because my teenage years were years of sadness of a single $200 beige bra lmao. So now I try to be savvy.

I've actually been thinking about going to a horror convention in October. I've only been to one other in my life, and it was a lot of fun. Plus, I went out of state by myself last year and it turned out amazingly, so I'd love to get some "me time" again. It'd be nice to get away from my Trump-obsessed folks.

I have no one to go with me, though. ;_;

Your folks support Trump? And you're black? What's their reasoning for supporting him?

I kinda wish to post here more, but for some reason I feel too scared to interfere with a community I haven't posted on regularly. ;w;

Anyway so um, I posted here once to ask if any of you have any experience with Mirena (IUD). I got mine yesterday! It didn't hurt at all. Actually, I didn't feel it going in (and he even put a long and thin steel thing first to check the cervix length). I heard it's usually recommended to people who have already given birth vaginally (which I did last year), due to pain intolerance and possible labor pain similarities.

Apparently periods usually stop completely after some months of bleeding or spotting, so I'll be counting down the days, and praying it works at intended. lol

Feel better donut puppy ;-;

My dog is at the vet. It's his 15th birthday but he's having issues.

Hope he will pull through, pau! And happy 15th to him! I had to say goodbye to my other dog earlier this year and that was so heart breaking. Hugs for you and your doggie ❤

- Not wanting minorities (Latinos especially) to keep stealing away their jobs (even though they are both retired, and their two children already have careers of their own, but they insist that Trump will gives us "all the jobs")

- Wanting the black community to free themselves of the "slavery" that is welfare

- Hillary is "too weak, too old, a woman, untrustworthy, etc."

- Bernie's "an idiot, and is equally untrustworthy"

- "Everybody's racist deep down, why bother Donald about it?"

- "Bringing back law & order" = Less police, less shootings on black people

- Fighting back against the "conspiracy" that is threatening their Roman Catholic way of life, voting in Trump so that "God's judgement" will pass. There were constant bets on Trump getting assassinated by men in black, in fact.

- "Terrorists"

Unfortunately, I could go on.

I had an IUD put in after I had my daughter in 2010, i got the copper. Unfortunately I had an uncooperative cervix and it came out. I had some irritation deep in there and it had worked it's way to a point where I just pulled it out by the strings :( I have implanon now, and it causes irregular periods

Hey, nice to meet you (and everyone else here I don't know).

I had an IUD put in after I had my daughter in 2010, i got the copper. Unfortunately I had an uncooperative cervix and it came out. I had some irritation deep in there and it had worked it's way to a point where I just pulled it out by the strings :( I have implanon now, and it causes irregular periods
That sounds terrible! I've heard a lot of awful things about the copper IUDs, unfortunately. Tried a lot of stuff to find the best way to deal with my endometriosis pains/heavy bleeding (
I usually bleed so much that sanitary products are useless for more than maybe 30 minutes
). The most effective I've tried was Yasmin (pills), but even with those my period would push it's through sometimes. :< Irregular bleeding and spotting is so damn annoying! Many years ago I tried one of those injections (the shot?) and didn't bleed for 3 months. I was so happy with it that I went back for one more after the 3 first months, but it did the opposite. I was bleeding and spotting heavily for 3 months! And since it was injected, I had no choice but to wait it out. Anyway, they stopped offering those shots now here, maybe they didn't work as well as they should have.

Oh maaaaan I love horror, and I want to go to a horror convention so bad. I should really look into any nearby.

I kinda wish to post here more, but for some reason I feel too scared to interfere with a community I haven't posted on regularly. ;w;

I just started posting, and feel this way too =3 I just try to ignore it because I've tended to let anxiety control my life up to this point.

Anyway so um, I posted here once to ask if any of you have any experience with Mirena (IUD). I got mine yesterday! It didn't hurt at all. Luckyyyy that it didn't hurt. I used to have Mirena, and unfortunately it didn't work out for me much (though I did keep it in the full five years). The insertion (which had to be attempted TWICE) was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I couldn't stand up after the procedure. Then throughout the whole 5 years, I would get random pains and cramps even if I wasn't on my period. My actual period cramps were less severe, and my periods were lighter, so that was a plus. I've never given birth, so I imagine that made a difference.

Currently I'm using the Nexplanon insert. I love love LOVE it. Mood swings went away quickly (took forever with Mirena), and sometimes I don't have a period at all. I do get irregular spotting, but I would get that sometimes with Mirena. Plus it's worth it for going without a period for a couple months sometimes haha.

Dep was probably the first birth control I tried as a teenager. Made me bleed for three or four months straight =[ No thanks.

I love that blog post, leeness. It's the first time I ever read something where bra sizing made any sense. Having cup size be sort of like a percentage of band size is just weird. Guys are always commenting on ladies cup sizes, like "oooh, that's a DD right there!" and I just want to respond "You mean H". Like DD is meaningless, it's the same as an A cup in a larger band size, so unless someone wants to start measuring volume, shut the hell up. Actually measuring volume would be good, I can associate it with cooking that way. *Stares at pyrex liquid cup measure*. Nope, not trying to squish body parts in that.

Same, I love that blog post haha. Bookmarked to always help educate!

And yeah, the whole "omg DD means they have pornstar boobs!" means absolutely nothing and it's annoying how it's perpetuated. I am an H and my boobs are not particularly interesting lol. So...calm down.

...Did you know you can measure how much your boobs weigh by using a kitchen scale and water displacement? ... I haven't tried it before.

Re: birth control and IUDs, I was on Marvelon for like 10 years and stopped recently just because I felt it hindered me while I was losing weight. I don't NEED it for anything anyway.

I would never want to use an IUD... I don't even (never have) go see a gyno because it grosses me out lmao.

However...I am currently looking into tubal litigation (see my doctor next week!) so I may have to bite the bullet at some point and have to see a gyno ;_; I hope I won't scream or cry or throw up.

Omg I've always wanted to know how much my boobs weigh, but couldn't think of how to find out. Currently no kitchen scale though =(

You can actually Google "weigh my boobs" and it will give you a helpful wikihow link lmao.

You could probably use a normal scale if you used a heavy enough bowl/water combo (since digital scales only turn on for certain weight, right?).

Totally gonna weigh my boobs and blame them for my weight, lol. I have big ol droopy mom boobs so it should be a good scapegoat, lol

Sorry to hear about your family though. That's.....discouraging.

I had to buy my own measuring thing to get a good accurate bra size. Much more helpful than getting fitted at stores.

Yep. Though some places do good fittings (Change for example, gets the same fit as I do when I do my own measurement). Victoria Secret or La Senza don't do proper fittings at all though.

My PC now shuts down instantly as soon as I unplug it. I guess I need a new computer now. Have no clue how I'll get the ducketts for one. May have to start going to the library soon for most of my computer needs. Don't know how I'll be able to work on my game or music production though.

And if not, setting up one with Discord would be cool. I love talking to you all! :)

There is a local one, Spooky Empire, that's one of the larger ones. Karen Fukuhara (Katana from Suicide Squad) is gonna be there, apparently. :eek:

You do production?, I didn't know. o.o

my computer's been doing some stuff lately :/

Crashing, screen turned green and went nuts yesterday. I just bought a new GTX 1080 a bit ago and I'm wondering if that could be the problem.

I also noticed a pin is bent on my cpu socket but the pc still posts.

Oh, I meant another OT community I met Nine in~

Going home next weekend/week! I miss my husband, he was too busy working so he couldn't come with us.

Did we ever had a chat? I'd love to be a part of it. :eek:
It doesn't seem like it! I'd love to join as well if someone set it up. :3

This morning I woke up throwing up my own guts. It has been a very bad day. I can't afford to miss work and was told not to come in because I told a girlfriend at work.

Welp. Looks like when I recover I'll be doing over over time to make up lol.

Nine I'm happy for ya. Keep us updated!

Some shit might be going around. I've been nauseous all day. Haven't actually gotten sick (which would be a relief). Instead I've just been teetering on the brink.

And to make matters worse I have to stay up all night because I'm starting a new schedule at work imma have to get used to. :[

Aww, get better before it turns into something! Get plenty of rest. What'd you end up doing?

I spent the day drawing, alt tabbing GAF, and watching Netflix. My guy brought me chocolates!

I felt kind of sick today too, skipped lunch because of nausea, then around 5, I guess it broke and I became ravenously hungry and ate everything.

Being sick is terrible! Especially when throwing up. Feel better soon, guys. :<

Saw this on reddit. A foal has a horse birth mark and it's so adorable.

CLu1Svx.jpg

Wish I could ride a horse. They seem like sweet animals.
That's awesome! I actually did horseback riding for 10 years when I was younger. As long as the horse is calm and nice, anyone can ride it, so give it a try if you want! It's so much fun.

Very random question: Any of you have ADHD? I'm in the process of getting diagnosed. I don't really know anyone else with ADHD/ADD, aside from 1 or 2 people. I always knew something was off with me, but my mom was in denial so I didn't get diagnosed as a kid.. which really sucks, because it could have made such a difference in my school history (like me not dropping out and having shitty grades). I'm 27 now. orz

It's not quite the same, but I've been diagnosed with ASD, putting me on the autism spectrum. My parents knew about it since I was a kid, but lived in denial and lied to me about it until I was examined again two years ago. I had to fight my own family to get to that point and know for sure, and even then, they made sure that the treatment I was getting wouldn't last due to funds. Ignorance is bliss, as they said.
