Admission: I've played nothing beyond the first 15 minutes of FFVIII. So, for me, he's nothing but eye candy. (However, knowing my weird taste in people, for all I know I might also like his personality.)

Actually, I think the general consensus among Final Fantasy GAF is that the NES version is by far the superior one. I can't remember why (something about the music? and better gameplay?) cause I've only played the DS one, but most of the serious JRPGers that read Japanese tout original III over the remake.

Oh no, I don't hate tommy the white ranger, I hate the tommy the green ranger. I know he was under a spell, he still did it .

I'm talking about Green Ranger!Tommy's hair! It was terrible. As a child, I could never understand why Kimberly went for a guy with such bad hair. I'm saying that's the best reason for hating the Green Ranger.

I have the DS version and I highly recommend it. Hell, the FMV in the beginning is probably the best "well, this is a Final Fantasy!!" video there is.

Honorable mention to Lantis and Ferio, but besides that creppy doll and Mokona there isn't a single character that is not extremaly beautiful in ways only anime can be in Rayearth.

I'm cool with guys rocking long hair (my dad had a ponytail for most of my childhood, so I always thought it was pretty normal) but Tommy's hair always just looked gross to me. Like he needed to wash it, or style it or something.
