GirlGAF |OT 2| Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Eve?

Less talk, more exotic men in underwear with gigantic bulges.

Getting to know others preferences in body aesthetics.

Y'all should tell me what I should and shouldn't like because I don't know. Lol.

I have no expectations regarding relationships so I can just say "hey that's a good looking guy" without it making me depressed right now :D

I thought Heath Ledger was a good looking guy. I think Benedict Cumberbatch is attractive in a "oh my god what" kind of way lol

Yep.

Not into tats either but he fine.
Me neither but some are cool as long as it doesn't look like your body was bathe in ink. Tats also doesn't work on everyone's body especially if your to dark or to light skinned.

All I really ask is that if people do have name tats have them so that people can understand what the damn name says.

It really depends on the person. I have nothing against tattoos but they only look good on some people. Yakuza tats on Asian guys look pretty damn good.
As an aside, if you think I'm the sole dike in the flood of sex/porn talk on this forum, you would be wrong. I can understand why some would think that, since I'm the one who most openly discusses the issue. That's a frequent problem for us: whichever moderator talks out loud about a problem is the one everyone assumes is banning/locking all violators, but that is never the case.

I was not the one who locked the recent porn thread. I haven't banned anyone for sex related posts in nearly 6 months. I didn't start the most recent discussion on the topic amongst the moderators. I just happen to be the person who posts in this particular thread, because it's also the only thread on GAF that my girlfriend reads with any regularity.
Sorry Opiate, I wasn't meaning to target you. I just mentioned your name because you're our resident mod.
Have we crossed the okay line this time?

Tats are really up in the air for me. If the artwork is good and you can tell the person and their artist put in a lot of time and consideration into the piece, I like them. If it's just something lame or poorly inked, no thanks. I think it also depends on the person and whether they can pull them off.

But with that picture I would give you a "chapstick" at most ... are you really a lipstick ?

Or are you saying in the meaning that there are more lesbians ?

xD

...ok ... really bad joke, I know =/

Aww, no love for tattoos?

I totally agree with this though.

How does GirlGAF feel about introducing friends to other friends for potential hook ups/etc? I know some people apparently don't like doing it.
I don't like doing this unless the friend ask me to introduce them to someone. I don't want to pressure them to try to get along or push the relationship further for my sake. ...If that makes any sense?

And I DEFINITELY don't like it when someone tries to introduce me for potential dates. I'd rather let things happen naturally!

I set up a high school friend with a uni friend, and that worked pretty well (while it lasted, at least). They got along great and there were no hard feelings with me when they broke up. It really depends though. There are a couple of friends who have some deeper personal issues, and they've been asking me about any 'single friends' I might have, but I wouldn't really feel comfortable hooking them up with my friends tbh. I also think that a relationship is something you can't really force, so asking me to find any woman to eat dinner with is probably not going to yield good results.

Maybe it's because I have trouble opening up to people but I don't think I could date someone who wasn't already my friend.

Same here. I'm actually kiiind of socially awkward, hahaha. I feel that I communicate better by chatting online/texting because of my shyness. A few of my relationships happened via online including my current one :p

Yeah, me neither. Although I suppose now that I think about it my partner and I became friends as we were dating. I knew I liked him when we met, so although we became best friends we were never really just that. I definitely don't think I could be intimate with someone I didn't trust though. One night stands with strangers don't appeal at all.

I find a face is much more important. Muscles on their own do absolutely nothing for me.

I know this sounds ridiculous but personality is really the make or break factor for me. People who aren't traditionally "hot" can still be really sexy because they are just cool people.

I feel like I'm a totally different person online. It's just so much easier for me to talk online than in person >_>

Hahaha not at all, it's actually something that's been happening to me in both aspects. How did that turn out for you by the way?

Never got a call back for information about meeting up Saturday, so nothing came out of it. I'll probably meet up with him and her another time.

I'm the same, my fiance and I were friends for 5 years before we started going out. And even then we were only friends online (met playing FFXI) and once we met in person finally we hit it off and have been together for another 4 years now. I have a hard time talking to people, I'm not the type who can just about strike up a conversation about anything other people may find interest in unless I honestly do find it interesting as well.

Agreed. When they're done right I really like them. Super hot. Unfortunately they're not often given the care they should have (in thought or design). I love browsing Gaf's tattoo thread, though. Lot of people in there have put some serious effort into their body art.

I like 'em muscular and tall. No tats is better than tats too.

Finally found a model worth looking at.

Marlon+Teixeira+Digitals+00.jpg

Ah, a near perfect body type. Nice choice. Lithe and lean but with definition. How is this body achieved? Is it mostly luck of the DNA draw or is there a specific workout for this? If it's the latter, more guys should get on board with it. ;)

But, Dean still wins. Delicious.

It's interesting to see this. I've been on both sides of this, as somebody who asked a friend for help and as somebody being asked for help. It's generally easier for me to just ask because then at the next party or whatever my friend will invite the person and they'll try giving me and said person some alone time to see how things go, though it usually doesn't go because I'm oblivious as hell haha. Either way I think that's a pretty natural way of doing things, have a group over and introduce everybody, it lets you talk to people and make new friends while giving the potential to get something more than a friendship out of the situation. I think that just asking, for example, a blind date type situation is something that is way more awkward and generally something that would put a lot more pressure on both people. As the person doing the helping I'm terribly awkward with it, I don't really know how to go about it at all.

Never got a call back for information about meeting up Saturday, so nothing came out of it. I'll probably meet up with him and her another time.

That blows, but you didn't seem all that interested in it to begin with so no harm in the end right?

I tried playing FFXI with Lissar but she got bored and quit D:

I tried going back, but I really don't have the time because of school. :( I'm hoping FFXIV gets saved and I can try playing on my PS3.

I'm going to be playing that with Gravijah on PS3. I'm pretty excited after they released that level 15 instanced dungeon video o:

I'm very excited for all the improvements. I was in alpha testing before the game initially launched and it was a hot mess then, and seemed like it was a hot mess when the game was released.

I'd be interested to see GirlGAF member tattoos, if any of you have any! I've been thinking about getting one, but I don't know if I'll ever go through with it. Really on the fence about it

Well that's most def not unique to just you so that's nothing to be ashamed of. I think we are all different online if even a little bit, more so on message forums than a dating site or facebook. It just matters how much we are different from our real life selves. I've met alot of people from fighting game tourney's that I've known online first and some had night a days differences from trolls online to saints in real life.

If I myself had to give a percentage I'd say I show about 70% of my true self online, 10% is bound by gaf rules and the other 20 is something most probably wouldn't like about me.

I'm more of a face person too but I admit that I perved out during the Olympics. The swimmer builds are perfect. Just enough muscle without being freakish.

Definitely don't get one until you're SURE you want it. It's permanent after all. Just a warning though: after you get one, you'll want several. I didn't understand why people kept saying that about tattoos until I got one, haha. I probably will have a few more in the (near) future!

Those are super cute!

I'd kind of like a tattoo, but I don't think It'd suit me and I can't really have one in the kind of job I want. So alas :(

Also have a simple locket outline on my finger - the only hand tattoo I'll ever get.
Starting on my stomache next!

Tattoos! <3

I have two, but one is super dorky and you'd make fun of me so I won't put either up. :p

I want more but I have no idea where to put them, so I've just kind of held off.

Any updates on your hair, hun?

My hair is in a weird state right now. I haven't shampooed for the past 4 days and at first my hair was really soft. Today after showering, the top of my hair is still pretty soft whereas the rest of it is in this lion-like frizz. Looks hialrious though.

Haven't gotten the olive oil yet :p My mom recommended a store that I should check out, so I'll have to make a visit soon.

You have two? How cool! Are you sure you won't show us? You're amidst a bunch of dorks, nerds, geeks, and awesome weirdoes. This is the right place for such a thing!

The girl that I worked with had this rose type design. I have no idea what I would actually want though, hahaha.

A smattering of stars perhaps? Something geometric and subtle...? So much potential!
