Wiki says that she was an exchange student as a teenager in Spain for a year and speaks fluent Spanish; she also did a PBS travel/foodie series about Spain, which is where I kind of realized how fun and likable she is.
Are you talking about that Mario Batali thing? My brother and I have a running joke about how much of a space cadet she is ever since we watched that. Between that and her personal website, I don't think she could come off as more unlikable.

Different strokes I guess.

I did enjoy her in this week's Glee, however. Even if she came across as a little gangly in the Chicago number.

i hope they get rid of the blaine character. he's annoyingly perfect at the moment and I don't think it's going to change.

I'd rather the bully be kurt's boyfriend than some ringer from the Brady bunch.

I'd rather Kurt leave and have Sam and Blaine hookup.

That isn't gonna happen, as he's supposedly been made a regular for season 3. I'm with anaron in rathering Kurt left anyway (lol not gonna happen). Chris Colfer is fantastic, but the writing for Kurt is bloody awful the majority of the time and Kurt's character is responsible for most of the disastrous after school special storylines this show likes to indulge in. He's just as much a Mary Sue as Blaine's character at this point.

This should read as Blaine. :lol

It really sucks how awesome Chris Colfer is in real life. :( He deserves a better character.

Just finish watching this earlier tonight and it was pretty good! I liked the mash up at the end, it sounded great.

Gweyneth was a nice edition to the show and I hope she comes back in the future.

This was by far my favorite episode this season. I'd been kind of getting tired of it, but the gags this week were great, as was Gwyneth. I hope she comes back. "Make Em Laugh" was really random, but the rest of the songs were pretty good.

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/wat...84_will_gwyneth_paltrow_return_glee_ryan.html

So you fans are asking: Will Gwyneth be back?

Here's what Glee's big boss Ryan Murphy just told me...

"[Gwyneth] and I want her to come back. It depends on [the] story...I love her."

You hear that, fans? That's a solid "maybe" and we'll take it! Given the outpouring of Gwyneth love after last night's episode—not to mention the iTunes and Nielsen's backing this morning—something tells me Gwyneth will find her way back to McKinley.

They are singing
Ohio.
I don't know the song but I don't expect it to be that good. Also, yay for Gwyneth :p

I hope Blaine ends up physically abusing Kurt who won't know what to do because he knows Blaine only hits him because he loves him and maybe if Kurt could be more of what Blaine wanted then Blaine wouldn't hit him anymore but in the meantime all he can do is express himself through song.

I was kind of exaggerating, but tell me this part of the "Mary Sue" definition doesn't fit Kurt to a tee:
Perhaps the single underlying feature of all characters described as "Mary Sues" is that they are too ostentatious for the audience's taste, or that the author seems to favor the character too highly. The author may seem to push how exceptional and wonderful the "Mary Sue" character is on his or her audience, sometimes leading the audience to dislike or even resent the character fairly quickly; such a character could be described as an "author's pet".
The whole "faggy" controversy last season with Kurt getting off scott-free for his actions, was the most blatant example of the writers thinking way too highly of the character. They continually use him as a platform for messages without dealing with any of his hypocritical behaviour.

Ok, I see. Well going by your definition he would classify.

Seriously, every time they have a big elaborate set like that I think that. But, this show hasn't been realistic for a long time.

The big light and the water thing last episode were especially out there.

Thanks for the twitter update on Figgins.

The Singin' in the Rain number is even worse... :lol

It's pretty clear the writers simply don't care about any consistency within the show or keeping it grounded in any sort of reality, so you have to just shrug and go along with the fantasy of it. Having these grand numbers does kind of end up undermining storylines when the Glee clubs budget is mentioned as a plot point. It's why this show often fails spectacularly whenever it attempts to have any sort of dramatic resonance.

"Glee club has no monies."

"Here is a several thousand dollar setup which we will use to dance to for one number that won't even be used at sectionals."

Also I forgot to mention that they totally botched Ceelo's song. What's the point of even singing it if you're not gonna do it the right way? :|

Yeah it's kinda stupid to do a song like that because they can only do the extremely lame radio edit. Such a waste.

I think they should do a poll to let fans pick songs to be on the show. at least before the sectional episode.

I wouldn't say he got away scott-free. He ended up ''destroyed'' even more in the end. But yeah it seems Kurt cannot fail at anything. He was responsible for the football team only victory in season 1 and was the lead singer in the cheerleading national which they won. He is basically the gay male version of Rachel which is why they don't like each other much.

According to amazon.com the songs for the next two episodes are :

Ohio from Wonderful Town

Marry You by Bruno Mars

Sway by Dean Martin

The Way You Are by Bruno Mars

Valerie by The Zutons

Don't Cry for Me Argentina from the Musical Evita

Hey Souls Sisters by Train

Time of my Life from the movie Dirty Dancing

The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics

Dogs Days are over by Florence and the Machine

I bet I can figure out which song Rachel be doing :lol. But please cheesus keep her away and make this a kurt/finn parents sue episode instead.

If I could get rid of one character on Glee(what with the cast evergrowing) it would probably be Artie, cause I know even with how stupid Glee can be they aren't going to magically heal Artie and make him walk again.

Amazon has only this song with specific credits and it's sold as two different solo versions :lol The power of Rachel! The others are labeled as being sung by ''glee cast''. She sings
Don't cry for me Argentinca with Kurt

“GLEE” CROSSES THE ATLANTIC!
Fri, Nov 19, 2010 at 6:00 AM by Admin

ON THE HEELS OF THEIR SOLD-OUT TOUR LAST MAY, THE CAST OF FOX’S SMASH SHOW “GLEE” CROSSES THE ATLANTIC FOR AN EXCLUSIVE EUROPEAN ENGAGEMENT AT LONDON AND DUBLIN’S O2 ARENAS AND MANCHESTER’S MEN ARENA JUNE 22- JULY 3

Special Presale To American Express Cardmembers Starts November 22; Tickets Go On Sale To General Public Friday, November 26

After mounting a live stage concert event that played to sold out crowds and great acclaim in four American cities last year, Twentieth Century Fox Television and “Glee” co-creator Ryan Murphy are proud to announce the “Glee” cast will travel to Europe to perform on the arena stages of London, Manchester and Dublin this June.

Beginning Wednesday, June 22 at Manchester, England’s MEN area, “Glee” stars Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine) will perform in an all-new singing and dancing celebration of the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning show.

The European exclusive engagement of “Glee Live! In Concert!,” is a unique concert experience once again conceived by Murphy that will include live performances of some of the show’s most memorable musical numbers from seasons one and two including “Empire State of Mind,” “Toxic, “ “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “It’s My Life,” and of course, the show’s anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Described by the Los Angeles Times as “triumphant,” USA Today called last year’s concerts "equal parts musical theater, giddy pop culture phenomenon and Journey-loving rock show."

Said Murphy, “We had such a great time putting together last year’s shows and the response from the fans was incredible. People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show. And for everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned. We’ll have some exciting news very soon.”

“I loved performing for the fans in Los Angeles, Chicago, Phoenix and New York last year and didn’t think there was any way to top that experience, commented Riley. “But performing in the great arenas of London, Manchester and Dublin? How cool is that? We cannot wait.” Added Monteith, “We had so much fun on tour last year that we were all itching to do it again. The fact that we’re going to Europe to perform for thousands of people is mind blowing. This show has been quite a ride.”

* June 25 London, England O2 Arena

Now in its sophomore season, “Glee” airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. This season’s No. 1 entertainment series among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens boasts critical acclaim, a loyal fan base of “GLEEks,” one Platinum and two Gold albums, more than 16 million song downloads, the record for the most titles on the Billboard Hot 100 by a non-solo act (beating out The Beatles), an incredible 19 Emmy nominations – earning it the distinction of being the most-nominated series of the year – and four Emmy Awards. To top it off, the genre-defying, award-winning series has been picked up through its third season.

GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan and Dante Di Loreto serve as executive producers. Become a fan of GLEE on Facebook at facebook.com/glee and follow the series on Twitter at twitter.com/gleeonfox.

I went to one of the NYC shows last year and it was a fun time. They had LXD open which is the dance group that Harry Shum is part of.

Another article said more European and US dates would be announced soon too.

Oh shit, Mike & the Mechanics!

I wouldn't get that excited.
It's the sectionals number for the senior citizens' glee club mentioned in last week's episode... though it's still being released as a downloadable single, so maybe it's not a deliberately awful joke performance?

Yeah that performance could've killed Vocal Adrenaline. Somehow though they're probably going to make the characters be the underdogs again at Regionals. :lol

Maybe Artie gets some breakthrough therapy or something, but somehow I doubt that will happen. I don't think there is a way they could see that regardless of how unrealistic the show has become.
