This is according to this website who played the game at Native 4K 120 FPS and said that the gameplay was very smooth!

WOW!!!!! Native 4K at 120 FPS is too much, I think there'll be a mode that can play at 120 FPS but at 1620p or 1440p.

well this seems very interesting as many conspiracy theorists would say. Godfall really has been catching my interest more and more. I have it currently pre-ordered physical but I might make this digital if the PS5 is really hitting 120(doubt). I am curious if this will eventually have cross progression, my understanding this is limited exclusivity and might come to series-x.

*edit* thinking while having more coffee this seems like a reach

Native 4K at 120hz is unrealistic for a lot of games. "NATIVE" is not a thing anymore. And we should be glad it is not a thing.

Having native 4K resolution for geometry is great! All edges look smooth.
Native 4K resolution for a lot of post-processing effects? They will murder even an overclocked RTX 3090.

Outputting on 4K is what we will get. There is a massive difference between rendering every aspect of your game at 4K and being intelligent with how you use your rendering budget.

Also, I would sacrifice all the children in my neighborhood for 120hz games that use dynamic rendering.

Lets wait for confirmation from the devs or Sony before using google translate to misinterpret something. Would be cool if true.

Ridiculous

The article says

"Using this "Godfall", PS5, I was able to play with a refresh rate of 120Hz with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 (4K). In this article, "

This does NOT mean the game runs at 120fps. It looks like it means the TV and ps5 was set to 120Hz which many TVs do.

I don't understand how you misunderstood this. Your TV, if not 120Hz, would then mean it's typically in the US set to 60Hz....doesn't mean your game runs at 60fps. Or if you do think this and you are claiming you've never played a console game below 60fps on your TV because your TV and console was set to 60Hz?...perplexed. 🤷‍♂️

Sony and LG sells TVs here that can run 120Hz.

The first thing that makes me say bollocks is that the devs confirmed that its 4k/60

Did they up their game and make its 4k/120fps? Yeah no. Show me proof

Don't go around here thinking that you know more than others. You don't.
?

He seemed to be very confused about what I wrote.

I think he was saying, interpreting what I wrote...that I made a claim that I did not. I'm not sure what the specific claim was though...I'd like him to elaborate.

I wanted to know what he was thinking I said...I'm not sure

Completely agree with you. I wont sacrifice any children though, a lamb will do it.
