How do I get all the match play cards to get into the pro tournament?
I played the two matches in Blue Moon. Is there something I am missing?
I beat the second world and this game finally clicked for me. I still don't like putting but otherwise, the game is now much more fun than it was initially when I felt like I didn't understand how to play. However, I still have no idea how to play disc golf and it seems I need to in order to advance the game.
Disc golf tips are in the OP.
I'm a bit puzzled. Waiting for the patch before buying this and the only thing giving me cold feet is people reporting how easy it is. Then I read a bunch of posts complaining about the opposite!
I know there being no challenge whatsoever would have a big impact on my enjoyment of the game, it always does (and is the reason Canvas Curse is the only Kirby game I've really loved).
I'm quite insecure now... any more advice?
is the Tiny glitch in Tidy park just at the mingling party when you first get there?
seems like a weird place to save and quit or whatever people are doing to trigger the glitch, it takes like a minute to do that part before you are back outside.
Don't worry there is challenge and it's fair.I'm a bit puzzled. Waiting for the patch before buying this and the only thing giving me cold feet is people reporting how easy it is. Then I read a bunch of posts complaining about the opposite!

The final third of the game requires much better club selection and control of the ball (due to wind, high green slopes and lots of water). Once you've masteted those then it's no more difficult than the rest IMHO.It's pretty easy for a good deal of the game, but the back third has a steep and kind of unexpected difficulty curve.
It's far right in the area where you have toI finished the last tournament yesterday. I never found the. Where is it and can I still do it now?car race though
Press + and choose gear menu. Then select. How do you use thein regular gameplay? It said I could, but can't figure it out.long driver
It's not there. I mean the one where you have to press 4 times, mass A a bumch of times and then hit accurately. That's not a seperate driver, is it? Did I forget to buy it somewhere?Press + and choose gear menu. Then select.
Or use the d-pad buttons whilst walking around to cycle through your different types of clubs.
Oh, sorry, I never saw that club or hit technique after that challenge. It's not there. I mean the one where you have to press 4 times, mass A a bumch of times and then hit accurately. That's not a seperate driver, is it? Did I forget to buy it somewhere?
Sooo i just got stuck between the bed and the little table next to it, how often does this game save? I'm scared that if i reset it i'll lose a bunch of progress :/
Apparently it saves when entering a new area so you should be ok. I got stuck between two trees once and reset and didn't lose anything

Ran into the Galf soft crash last night. Didn't lose any progress, but still a bummer that it happened. Game is still a lot of fun, but the longer I play it, the more bugs I notice!
I wasn't even able to play it since my first shot went OB and then the game just sat there. LOL I absolutely loved readinghow do you even tolerate Galf. I do not like it one bit. I playedbut ugh. Just not for me. I think it amazing they thought to include that in the game. However, how come they could make the Galf putting more complex than the regular game hmm?Seasons and Night Galf too
It was Tidy Park. I found the list in options.Depends on which course you're missing your match play card for. If I had to guess, you'd probably have to go through Tidy Park still, or maybe the Cheekybeak Peak match (go to Lorraine's office for that one)
Ask the composer: Joel Steudler http://joelsteudler.comHas there been any word on any kind of OST release? I love the music in this game, but all I can find is a small handful of tracks on Youtube. The match music in Tidy Park makes me want to start playing real golf again.
Wait... you can complete GALF?Just finished, Total Playtime 15:30 with everything complete but GALF. Looking forward to a follow-up.

Anybody noticed any Switch OS irregularity since installing Golf Story??
I have trouble waking the game from extended periods of sleep sometimes. I have to force reboot the Switch. Also when the game is sleeping there are times when the News Channels dont load and again I have to force reboot the Switch.
Anybody else had these problems over the last couple of weeks?

No. I've only noticed OS related issues with Sonic Mania, and those are well documented (where's my patch Sega?!)

Yes, this is actually only complaint about the game.I do think it's a tad ironic that Galf's green is easier to read and more intuitive than the actual in-game green.
My Switch was running Golf Story for a week, no other games were run and I used the eShop and friends list regularly. Barring one game restart (GALF OOB bug). No issues with responsiveness of OS during that time.Anybody noticed any Switch OS irregularity since installing Golf Story??
Yes, that was a really nice surprise! Also, one thing this game does that I really wish Breath of the Wild did was.the aftergame stuff, where the world exists after you win and people recognize that fact -- it was sweet to see Max Yards finally admitting that he was wrong about me

Huh. I guess I just needed to replay until I was more comfortable with the course. Suddenly learning about the dpad up/down power strike (wasn't there a thread this week about going through a game without using an entire mechanic?) helped some, and I just got the final course at six under par! Damn, that's a rewarding feeling.
...what? I only earned seventy-five dollars and fifty cents for winning a pro tournament??
That said, eventually it seems like you end up accruing money without anything to actually spend it on for a long stretch.
That said, I'm totally ready for Cricket Story. I hear it's up next!
edit: Two more things: I totally missed that the world map wasuntil that final zoomout. Makes sense given the devs. Also, one thing this game does that I really wish Breath of the Wild did wasAustralia.the aftergame stuff, where the world exists after you win and people recognize that fact -- it was sweet to see Max Yards finally admitting that he was wrong about me
I'm at the last tournament and set it aside for now. The lack of "retry" options, means I'm having to quit the whole game wait for the beginning, load etc everything I made a tiny mistake (which ruins your chances or winning) which is too frustrating. Will come back to finish it when a QOL update arrives.
Loved most of the game though, really funny writing and hear-warming settings.
Does getting an OOB in Galf automatically lock the game up? Like, the ball goes OOB, but there's no indicator or anything and you can't do anything in Galf, can't quit out of Galf, but can still.... read the manual. Lol.
Happened three times so far, on both Galf Seasons and Galf Nights. Weird.
