I'd love it if you could shift recorded videos from your gtv box to your Android Telephone via the wifi network. Make it happen.

I really hope that they have a feature that will allow a skype type situation where you and a friend could be picture in picture watching a show together.

Lost would be far more entertaining with Chat Roulette in the corner.

I would think Sony would make the box, but Logitech is fine with me. Box is nothing unique or inspiring which is a missed opportunity.

First Google TV device. I was wrong, it isn't just going to be Google TV-powered TVs, but companion boxes as well.

GET!

I can't believe they're still talking about Google TV...

I wonder if there will be a 'one more thing' :D

(there isn't a keynote tomorrow is there?)

If Sony had any sense, they would be working their ass off with Google to get this ported to PPC and throw it on PS3.

But they don't, so its not gonna happen.

I see no reason why this would be the exclusive box. Can probably expect all the usual suspects to make boxes.

I will be interested to see if any of the cable companies adopt this or try to fight it. I would guess that Google's already reached out to them if they're showing this stuff but who knows?

E3 Megaton? I believe.

Oh Adobe.

As for video, the stream is good quality but gets fairly choppy -- especially when you check out something "not optimized for mobile viewing." Some of the HTML5 footage we've seen via the same device shows up in crisper detail and fluidity. Battery and heat are also of concern: the pre-release beta we have, according to Adobe, lacks hardware acceleration. Ergo, our beloved handset got piping hot after about 30 minutes of heavy video watching, and the battery indicator in the upper right had a sizable dent.

Some cool stuff, like web Market with over the air install. Here's a log from Android Central

Speed
App data backup
Improved Enterprise / Exchange Support
Push services - "Android Intent"
Tethering / Mobile Hotspot
Much faster browsing experience - V8 in browser
New functionality in browser- Camera, orientation, geolocation
Support for Adobe Flash and Adobe Air
Search the Android Marketplace directly from Quick Search
The ability to install applications on the SD card automatically
One-button update or automatic update for apps
The ability to purchase music from Android Marketplace
The ability to stream your own music from your desktop

A beta, which states it lacks hardware acceleration, has a few hiccups? Unbelievable!

Google TV doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. Get Vic back to do another 20 android demos

Yep, how long is this conference? I could swear we've only seen a few Android demos, out of the supposedly 22 we were promised.

Edit: I'm sorry, this picture is hilarious. Most of the CEO's look so bored and that they have no idea what is going on.
