Maybe if Amir0x lets in a bunch of fresh new juniors and bans them, it will be a sacrifice worthy of a release date

I'm surprised that PD downplayed the track number so much. It's really impressive.

It's decent, but rain/night variants makes the number seem much greater (although it's a plus that the reverse variants aren't counted).

Is that the full list or from the video earlier?
Definitely not the full list. In fact, there's probably a lot more than that that will be unlockable if previous GT's are anything to go by.

Even if you don't count the reverse or the variations there are still a good number of tracks. And that's just the tracks that are unlocked initially. We know that they have some hidden.

GT5 always brings the out insanity of the person, espacially on GAF.:lol

Oh I fully intend to forget the hype, and just enjoy the magic. At the end of the day, details-shetails, it's a good driving game.

But Goldrusher is listing tracks in that list that didn't show up in the video (e.g. Nurburg)?

/confused

GT5 is a special case.

We've waited so long for GT5 and it's so damn close to release, and we are hearing fuck all from Sony. >_<

The biggest surprise in that track list is that one of Eiger's variations is a massive rally track.

He probably added tracks that are confirmed and has been seen in demos etc

What I want to know is, if GT5 is already being printed as we speak. Why the fuck has Sony not announced a release date.

He listed the Nurburgring GP, which is in the track list.

Ah, cool then. So, what tracks are missing in Goldrusher's link that we know for certain are in the game? Has someone done a list of that?

Ok then, after someone here mentioned that FNAC had a kiosk setup I went to my local FNAC. Gaming section was completely decorated with GT5, they had a Gameracer Pro playseat set up n stuff to test the game (Old build). When I went to ask if they had a release date already I noticed a magazine rack with lots of magazines GT5 on the cover:

Imagine my surprise when I opened it and found this:

Now, before you jump on me and go all "PLACEHOLDER!"... Thing is their placeholder date is different, and still on the website actually, which was Nov30. Also this magazine was printed for this week, wasn't there on the weekend. But ofc, I was as suspicious as everyone else here so I asked if this date was official. The guy I talked too was actually very well informed, he was even aware of the leaks that have been happening, and most importantly, he didn't seem to be bullshitting me. He mentioned that Sony has been/will be shipping the game irregularly, and he expects different countries to have different dates between 20 Nov - 30 Nov. They got word from Sony they'll be getting their games towards the end of next week, and they plan to start selling them on the 24.

So yeah, it's still not 100% confirmed, but it's easy to tell when these clerks don't know what they're talking about, and he didn't seem like one of those.

Up to you guys to believe him or not, I do :p

And in other news... finally saw Toscana Day/Night transition in person... so freaking goood!

Not counting variations? Top Gear Test Track, Piazza del Campo, Ice Arena and El Capitan.

This thread has been something special in the last 24 hours, at least it's becoming more and more likely that this game will release this year.

Nice. Is this why Sony has no release date? I hope Australia will get it towards the start of that range if it's true. Since our discs are made locally and all, and printed started at least a few days ago looking at the leaks, there's no reason they can't ship it across Australia by the 20th... except games come out on Thursdays here, and only Thursday in that range is the 25th... :(

Lol, Gtplanet is going nuts!
Threads are getting locked, pictures of Jessica Alba dipped in honey sprawled acroos some Alfa Romeo, Kangaroos stealing beer and something about ditching Sony Bravia TV's and moving to Samsung.
Yep, Sony can do that to you.
