Yeah. Sounds like you're still pretty new to the game. Work on building out that weapon pool with colossus omega raids and skilling them up. Skill levels are very important to add to your damage. Just max level weapons alone won't be enough to take on harder content.

The game has a pretty nice progression curve. things you can't do today you will be able to do in a month if you keep at it. And in that month you'll have brand new tiers of challenges to undertake.

Ifrit will come back again. If you can even get one copy today that will be a solid win.

Regular Carbuncles start at 25% and go up to 50% when MLB'd.

25% wasn't enough for me and I was using water chars. So most likely not.

Focus on the GW weapon. However as i just found out, if you have a horn and a maxed rusted weapon, you can make an SR baha weapon and it gives 20% damage to a particular race even at skill level 1. That's pretty huge for little effort.

Well if you are going for GW weapon anyways than you are hitting proto bahamut as much as possible. That means tons of rusted weapons and probably a horn or two. So pretty little effort all things considered

Yeah. Didn't realize I was sitting on such a nice upgrade. The game kept throwing daggers at me when I was trying to make the sword so it was pretty painless to max level it and make the SR baha weapon. Didn't realize the SR one was so strong. Getting the SSR version definitely comes way after getting a GW char though.

Sword is 10% hp/atk vs the dagger at 20% atk. If you only have one horn it might be best to be patient and wait for the daggers

I was stuck on that too, you need to fight the previous boss and get it to drop the scale needed.

he should be in your party now, just bring him along to do missions to get his loyalty to max, and he will join you permanently after the event ends
