Hades is pretty nice if you're like me and have a dark weapon pool full of multi star gacha weapons. For some reason I get a ton of dark character dupes.

If you missed the shenanigans, right after the casino updated but before it was taken back offline:

1000-chip bets were added, both to 1-card and 2-card. This makes 1000-chip 2-card poker the best chip/effort since it's literally 10 times what the previous maximum was.

BUT

There was another change, intentional or unintentional, where 1-card Poker awarded incremental multipliers - first win 2x, second win 3x, third win 4x, etc, making the amount of chips you got a factorial function of your number of wins.

Naturally when you go up to 10! it's a shit ton of chips, resulting in the screenshots on the last page.

The pure maths was a (far) higher chance than Super Bingo for a (far) greater payout. There's no way they were letting it be.

Patch notes list unintentional changes often.

Right hand, left hand, etc.

Maybe a better term is poorly-thought-out-and-wouldn't-fly. "Unintentional" is a bit too much of a catchall.

I see this reaction often, and being still a beginner I have to ask why ? I mean a dupe is used to add stars to a weapon. In the case of a SSR one, if you haven't maxed it already, that not bad, no ?

I've limited crystals, I don't plan to buy any so would've prefered a new SSR char rather than a dupe.
Specialy now with limited summer chars *_*

Getting a dupe weapon is bad because you're not getting a new character or summon you want (or don't want, but at least don't have).

Getting a dupe weapon is also bad because you want your weapons that you use to be 3* or 4* which means you would need to draw the same gacha weapon many times to get it max level. Which means that most gacha weapons, and dupes, are "useless" in the long run to everyone who isn't spending hundreds or thousands of bucks on this game (those people run a good chance of actually getting enough dupes to max the weapon out and make use of it).

Getting a dupe weapon is nice, in theory, maybe the first time, because 2500 CP from a gold moon can go a long way. And objectively speaking getting a dupe SSR is better than getting a bunch of SR/R trash, but it's still often disappointing.

Generally the bad outweighs the good when it comes to drawing dupe SSR weapons.

I think its a matter of perspective. When I get dupes I dont mind, one because gold moons are nice, and two because I roll pretty often so I can 3 star gacha weapons fairly easily if Im lucky, since i seem to get repeat characters for dupes. But yea if you're more casual/sane and only roll with crystals then dupes are probably pretty annoying.

Is cp really that valuable, Im sitting on 6000 cp with no idea what to use it on, and Ive already finished all tier 1 classes and almost done with tier 2, you just get so much cp from other sources.

I just unlocked some earlier.

Basically you have to host co-op rooms and try to get the Pandemonium (aka EX) stages cleared. Along the way by farming the same room you might get class creeds e.g Warrior Creed/ Mage Creeds for which a number will be required for certain classes.

-) Clearing EX rooms give you special trophy titles e.g Twilight Slayer (required to unlock Samurai)
-) Samurai required me to possess 500CP and a Warrior Creed, which I had.

You have to host to get clear credit to the the required trophies so you can't leech for that. You can, however, leech for creed farming. EX 1-3 (stage 1 quest 3) is popular for creed farming.
