Wind bow using SSR.
Not terrible. Just getting those two SSR are better luck than I normally have. Could be worse.
The half AP and bp is awesome though. Leveling up so quick now.

Yes there is. The Chevalier magna, which normally costs 5BP to join or 50 ap + 3 gold animas to host and enough rank to do it (30).
Hmm. I have no idea where to get gold animas. And I don't see Chevalier manga on the first island. Damn. I must be missing something.
I like the fact that Granblue values time invested a bit better than other mobile games, while re-rolling an alt account is vaguely attractive I dont think a lot of SSR's would make up for the time invested (unlike say, Dokkan Battle where generally its always worth re-rolling if you get the best new SSR)
However that 6/10 pull above is obscene, makes me not want to pull

Play it on your pc using chrome's mobile mode. or you could always use your mobile's browser, works fine too.
Had enough for 4 single pulls and I figured I might as well since I wasn't going to save up another 1800 games this week. Pulled a Lancelot on the 3rd one, decided to hold off on the 4th

2. Go to Casino and click this icon
3.Play poker or Bingo in casino and buy 3 of these (2nd page in Casino shop) per day (if you can afford)
4. All Magnas are located in this Island

21:00-22:00 GMT+2, which I think was around 5am JST - sorry if it's not accurate, DST is a pain.
Hopefully by the end of the week I manage to pull one Water SSR and one Light SSR, that'll give me at least one SSR for each element (of course I wont complain if I get more )

Ah, alrighty then. Thanks for the tip! Haven't found any info on those yet. Sounds neat-o.
Basically the ways you can spend money on the gacha are as follows:
Normal 10 pull - 3000 yen - Always available, standard SSR chance is 3%, during a legend fest its 6%
Normal Single Pull - 300 yen - First pull of the day is 90 yen/mobacoin, same SSR chance as above
Star Gacha / W Gacha - 3000 yen - Pops up fairly regularly - Works like a 10 pull only you are guaranteed one SSR unit , you can get additional SSR units like the normal 10 pull
Surprise Gacha - 3000 yen - Pops up rarely, you get a Surprise Gacha token which allows you to select any SSR unit in the gacha (some summons cant be selected and it must be redeemed within 7 days), you also get a 10 pull ticket which you can redeem for a normal 10 pull at any point
Start Dash - 3000 yen - Only available once, available for 7 days when you start, if you dont avail it pops up every month for 72 hours. Gives you a start dash ticket which allows you to select any SSR unit that was in the gacha when you started your account (some summons cant be selected and it must be redeemed within 7 days), you also get a 10 pull ticket which you can redeem for a normal 10 pull at any point
So in terms of bangs for your buck its: Start Dash > Surprise Gacha > Star W Gacha > Reduced rate single pull > 10 pull > normal rate single pull.
I think thats all the paid gacha options covered.

I've been lurking this thread because I was considering getting into the game, but after reading this and my first reaction being "so around $35 CAD to buy a character", I realized that I probably shouldn't. F2p just isn't my thing...
The games fairly generous with gems, depending on how you're progressing/what you're doing you should be able to manage 3 or 4 ten pulls per month (so basically every legend fest). If you like the game after the first month the Start dash is probably worth doing when it re-appears. If you could hold yourself to only buying Surprise tickets after that it might not worth out too expensive across the year (not sure how many come out each year but I think theres only been one so far in 2016? So they arent that common).

I've been playing GBF for 9 months, and spent 0$.
Game is pretty much about weapon and summon drops from raids and events.
You can do fine without spending money.

Can anyone tell me what Rares are worth keeping? I've mainly been keeping SRs and SSRs but I pulled these today and was wondering if any were worth it.

I did a bit of reading up, and it seems like Narumeia, Vampy, and Lady Grey/Vargeras make a pretty solid dark team. Given that I already have Narumeia (and now Vargeras), I'm just about there! If I ticket Vampy I'm set (I already have the Bahamut summon).

Now that one has Heruesu, Yoda, Amira, Siegfried and Sarunan SSR units. No good summon though, which kinda sucks, but at least there's plenty of good units.
Things might still change though, seeing as we get free pulls from the legend gacha.

generally the Rs are mostly used for skill leveling and that's about it
Pretty sure that free 10 pull is not using the 6% legfest rate.
Did 320 pulls today, 160 with using 3k gems and 160 with the free pull. Will know more in a few hours when we get an another free 10 pull.

Game balance is constantly changing. With the Cosmos BL weapons balance type chars are much more valuable as you get a flat 20% boost to their DA chance when you have *** BL. Metera def can be a contender in certain wind parties, and likely will be in the future as well.

Thanks for the info. I assume by time I get around to trying this they won't be giving out daily free rolls, but its not like that was going to make or break my choice anyway. It seems fun, but rolling for stuff has always been demotivating for me, even if I never need it. Desires go a long way in keeping me going, and I don't think I can justify buying the start dash ticket. Either way, I'll likely actually try playing the game a bit before I make any real decision, but that will have to wait until it comes out in English.
What was your ID again, last time I couldnt add you as friend. Now I think I can if you have done story somewhat (4 chaps or so).

You can machine translate the game since you play it on Chrome, it's spotty but gets the job done.
