For real, all my characters hit the cap so I'm basically just getting xP for my job and lvl. Someone tell me that Extreme quest isn't the only way to uncap characters.

Yeah Order Grande is some OP shit, if I knew about it earlier I would have tried to reroll until I got it during that event.

Oh no. Definity not. Every day there is a special dungeon that will have materials for uncapping. Weekend just happens to be the xp/rupee dungeon. Monday is a mix of all, then there's a scroll day, a crystal day, an orb day, etc
I'm actually one of the fools going for a grande grande team. I know it's a lot harder to make the team but I would hate to just shelve my Grande.

Yes but most of the story quests after the beginning don't have a consistent element and most of the time I can't really clear them without the Grande damage buff or just the 100% retry stack.
Mainly because I don't have enough characters to build any specialized teams at all whatsoever.
Mono element teams are great for boss raids I imagine. But stuff like this SF event with a bunch of enemies of varying elements, or just later stage quests single element focus does not seem that strong.

It's because ultimately you are supposed to equip 10 weapons with the element of your team so all 4 characters receive the 10 bonuses from the weapons. Some weapons have two bonuses like an HP+ and damage + or even a counter ability. It's usually better if all 4 characters have the bonuses.
For the SF event it seems more like a problem of levels as I'm not seeing much stars for limit breaks. What kind of element do you want to play? To help during bosses you should go Dark Fencer for the debuffs. Gravity wave gives you an extra turn before being hit by the ultimate attack during overdrive and misery mist debuff attack and defense. Stall also drains a diamond so you get more time before the ultimate attack once again.

Got through the story (up to around Chapter 16 or whichever allows you to farm the raid for your best character's Uncap materitals), started evolving weapons in my pool using Angel weapons from the easy Angel Item events that go on through each day and uncap your other character's too at least once so you can get their third moves. Those really increase your utility. I also got to the Dark Fencer class, which has really helpful debuffs.
Most important part: Borrow the best summon for your team. I have different elements, so I use any Grande that gives 200% to teams with three diff. elements. It worked wonders. I haven't lost since.
If Grande 200% isn't in the list, I use the list reset trick that someone posted about earlier:
Note that if you have a Mono-Element team, Grande may not be your exact choice of summon. Any summon that gives a great boost to your superior element should do the trick!
Angel item events? Forgive my noobishness, but which are those? I don't see any on my Events list.
Also, which stage/difficulty in the SF event would you use the most for farming?

Yep. That's them. The name was escaping me for some reason.
But yeah, they give weapons that can help level the weapons in your pool.
- I start with Necalli, I find him the more pesky to deal with between him and F.A.N.G. (starting with Hard and then going to Very Hard after hitting 40+ with my uncapped mains. I don't touch Extreme). Necalli is more about raw strength, while F.A.N.G. attempts to afflict Poison on your team members with multi-hit specials.

hmm, i have enough SR/SSR for a fire team, but currently I'm just using a mix of different elements and using order grande if it's up (any 200% order grande user can add me as friend please?)
i should probably get dark fencer and uncap/level up my team and weapons more..

Not too many 200% Order Grandes running around, especially not with free friend slots, were I to guess. It's kind of a slog going back and forth to find them on the list, but it's far from improbable.
And yes, that has been working for me at this point.

I used over 50 pots before I got one drop....
I don't get it. I have no luck with these drops on the SF event. I'm doing very hard and I've only gotten seven of the gold tier event items needed out of forty. I've run it so, so many times. I must have awful luck or there's a secret to getting a bunch of gold chests I don't know about.
I think I just grab Karin (50 free crystals btw), I havent got any SSR drops from Extreme, about 40 pots used.

. But hey, Welcome!I have 140 weapon slots, 70 slots for summons. Then I have 2 storages (Stash), other one is for Rusted Weapons (needed for Bahamut weapons) and other one is for SR & SSR fodder. You need shit ton of SR & SSR weapon fodders for skill upping weapons.

I moved from 10k to 100k bingo, had 3.9m. Only to lose 1.9m there. Since I buy stuff daily with medals, I moved back to 10k where I can get enough medals to do my daily shoppings and still be in winning side.

I'm still going for Karin even though I already have a full SSR Fire team, but that's mostly because I like collecting characters.
At least Chun Li still has a place in my inevitable Water team.
