There's an elevator that leads down there from Eva's desk I believe.
There's 2 elevators, one takes me to main floor/street and one takes me to that kind of garage area.

The other messaging system, not the boss' auto response one. I don't think there's anything that you can do that will block you from progressing.I can't get back into the office. The door is still locked and the window is closed now when I climb up on the ledge.
Crazy to think that this will probably sell way more copies than it did when originally released.
If it does well, people in the industry will notice.

Focus on the main floor. I think your next step is there.
There were no Grim Fandango walkthroughs or hints online when I first played this game many years ago... Just had to stick it out and sometimes become stuck for days on certain puzzles until a literal "a-ha!" moment came about. The reward for completing the puzzle on my own was much more satisfactory than using a walkthrough would have been.
So, for those stuck just keep at it. It might take you a while to beat it in the end but surely you'll be happier for it,right? Right?
love it so far, excellent writing and atmosphere.Anyone playing this for the first time? What are your impressions?

Double Fine and Tim Schafer have replied to me on Twitter a couple times now today.
They have said they are working on getting the theme available for everyone in some way but have nothing to report now and are "unsure" if it is possible.
That's something at least. I think being @MannyCalavera12 on Twitter helps haha
IS the PC version STEAM?
IS the PC version STEAM?
Yes and no. There is a DRM free PC version on GMG as well. And there is also a Steam version.
Is the Steam version also DRM free or no? I haven't picked it up yet to check.
The Steam version launches just fine with Steam closed. You'll still need Steam running to install the game, of course.
Wish this game ran full screen.
I don't see why they couldn't fix that.
Could've just redone the backgrounds.
The glitches are strong in this one.

The remaster looks like shit compared to those images. ^ How the..
Certainly makes you feel like Doublefine are some lazy ass developers..

Pretty great for when you get lost but don't want the solution given to you outright .Code:
- Manny's cigarette sometimes staying on Manny after it's supposed to be removed after idle animation.
- Bread not rendering correctly after you use it and get a new one.
- Olivia not rendering correctly during a cutscene.
- Carla not rendering correctly during an animation.
- Game soft locking after trying to use can opener on cat food (not sure if that happens every time, only tried it once).
- Impossible to exit one camera angle when using mouse controls (the closeup of a window in Carla's security room).
- Certain puzzles are made a lot harder when using mouse controlsI was unable to do forklift puzzle with mouse controls. And the puzzle with the wine casket is a lot harder because the casket only becomes a clickable object if you climb the ladder.
Most of these are minor issues, but I miss the feeling of playing a polished bug-free game. It feels like most games released these days are riddled with bugs.
After running around like a headless chicken for ages, I'm finally making some progress in Year 2.
Im not really a fan of games like this. but lol at this thread and Byron.
For some reason I only hear Sheldon's voice when I read his posts now..
lol;p<3

I had a similar glitch except manny was facing the other way
I'm a big fan of Telltale's games, will this be just as enjoyable for me? I'm currently on the fence for buying it

You'll enjoy the story and atmosphere but if your only experience in the genre is Telltale then the puzzles will kick your ass. In a good way.
Nah man I'm just playin..... Just means you care lolJust trying to get everyone access to the theme by communicating with Double Fine and Tim Scafer now.
They are working on it, they replied earlier today.
Sorry.
