Can we ask anyone else who left Rockstar a decade ago what they think?

No thanks, not playing anything where i drive cars and flight stuff with 30fps. It's fucking 2025.
Yep lmfao. So the article is about a guy that doesn't know shit. Amazing.
Yes, it will on a better machine."former"
"expects"
lets assume this ends up true, do you think PC version will run any better?
I'll put up with it on Playstation until PC then I can play with unlimited FPS. can't wait to play it at 360fps
"AI upscaler thing"So the article is about a guy that doesn't know shit. Amazing.
of course but how many PC gamer has this "better machine"? how better?Yes, it will on a better machine.
I do.of course but how many PC gamer has this "better machine"?
Much better.how better?
Considering the consoles are in their 5th year on the market? A lot.of course but how many PC gamer has this "better machine"? how better?
Last two games did. Will it perform as good as PCMR expect to be?
Rockstar games scale very well though. Look at GTA V on consoles and then on PC. Same for RDR2. If history is anything to go by, the PC version will perform very well. RDR2 is one hell of a looker and runs beautifully on a wide range of machines. Not the least bit worried about GTA VI.i highly doubt it. PCMR has higher expectations how a game performs on a high end PC.
i think you still do not understand what i'm trying to say here.Considering the consoles are in their 5th year on the market? A lot.

Long as the frame rate is stable, everyone should be fine, including consoles.
I'm not double dipping on this one. See you when the PC version is ready.
It's going to be dumbed down to play on series s.Thank fucking god. Please be right.
The last thing we need is the dumbing down of everything in this game just to hit some stupid ass framerate.
No thanks to soap opera effect.Your TV has Nvidia frame gen tech called motion interpolation. Thank me later!
CDKeys or Epic giveaway for me, in ten years. That's the price that I put back on Rockstar for their PC double-dip delay shenanigans.
I do.
Much better.
You were using games made on the RE Engine as examples. Nice try I guess but everybody knows that engine sucks for open worlds. Meanwhile RDR2 runs like a dream on PC and I expect no less from GTA VI.
RDR2 and GTA VI run amazingly on PC. It’s all subjective, but GTA VI will probably have the most impressive graphics on the market and those will commensurate with high hardware requirements. If people bitch that their potato systems cannot run it (and they will) they will simply need better rigs.i think you still do not understand what i'm trying to say here.
is it going to run better compared to a console? no shit obviously.
is it going to run well as expected from a PCMR? well............i'm not sure about that.
We shall see, maybe you are right and GTA 6 ends up running PERFECTLY on PC.
That too. So we dont need even more dumbing down to hit some stupid framerate target. You want 60fps wait a year on the PC version. It's going to be dumbed down to play on series s.
i actually hope the game was optimized well on S, so theres a chance the game will run 60fps on ps5 pro lolzThat too. So we dont need even more dumbing down to hit some stupid framerate target. You want 60fps wait a year on the PC version.
I think if anyone can do 60 FPS on an ambitious title, it's Rockstar - this isn't some eastern developer with 2 programmers after all.

It’s miraculous it even runs on the PS360 with their 256 and 512 MB of RAM. GTA V is very much an 8th generation game that somehow manages to run on 7th generation hardware and not good hardware. You must have forgotten how GTA5 ran at launch. Almost constant sub 30fps.
I hope the game runs at 10fps 480i on Series S, I hope its a complete afterthought and the priority is clearly to maximize the PS5 Pro version at 30fpsi actually hope the game was optimized well on S, so theres a chance the game will run 60fps on ps5 pro lolz
I don't really buy that cpu would be the bottle neck. With gpu driven rendering cpu doesnt need to stretch itself and it's not like gta does something super intensive on cpu side. With ecs patterns you can have thousands of units of npc.
Bro you are grasping at straws here. RDR2 was their last game and it's an example of not just good but great optimization on PC. Anything else is cope.i have seen people complaining about PC performance whenever a game runs poorly on console, RE engine or not.
its a yearly thing now.
PS7 at the earliest. I imagine GTA6 will be on at least 3 generations of consoles, like the last one.lol, LMAO even at those that were expecting it to run at 60fps
Wait till the PS6 and next Xbox for the "remaster"/next-gen edition
You mean like Digital Clownry where the so called tech enthusiasts know shit about game coding??So the article is about a guy that doesn't know shit. Amazing.

Yup. Frame rate isn’t an issue I will have. My days of PS1/N64 gaming have mentally strengthened me to look past frame rate.I played GTA 5 at 20 fps on PS3, I will survive.
