It's Rockstar 30fps too, so it's chocked full of horrific input delay too. Red Dead 2 was enough to never experience that again.
30fps is garbage on OLED.As long as it's a rock-solid 30fps, I'm fine with it.
I always wonder what would the creator of Sherlock Holmes think of the coined phrase, “No shit Sherlock!”No shit sherlock
He used to love saying that himselfI always wonder what would the creator of Sherlock Holmes think of the coined phrase, “No shit Sherlock!”
The game certainly isnt sluggish or disconnected in first person mode.It doesn't matter anyway. If it controls anything like RDR2, it will feel sluggish and disconnected no matter how many or how few fps you get.
It is most of the time. Final Fantasy Rebirth looked really Jerky but Silent Hill 2 seemed Ok but then it has heavy motion blur. It might be Ok if it has well implemented motion blur that doesn't overly obscure details.30fps is garbage on OLED
You are right. It is better in first-person mode for the most part. So maybe R* should just make FPS games. The game certainly isnt sluggish or disconnected in first person mode.
That’s the caveat and the Take Two way.Wait till the PS6 and next Xbox for the "remaster"/next-gen edition
Anyone who believed otherwise was kidding themselves, respectfully.
It's GTA, they don't need any other reason than that.I think they would keep it 30fps even if the consoles were capable of higher, even on the Pro. They will save 60fps for the PC/Next gen version giving a good reason for people to double dip.
And because of that xbox series S, its always parity issue.I think they would keep it 30fps even if the consoles were capable of higher, even on the Pro. They will save 60fps for the PC/Next gen version giving a good reason for people to double dip.
No need, ill be playing it day 1
Was someone expecting 60fps on consoles?
On GAF, we’ve made threads on less.So the article is about a guy that doesn't know shit. Amazing.
Objectively the best way to play on console. In 30fps.
I think it was usually 15-30fps.I don't give a flying fuck about GTA6 but aren't Rockstar games always 30fps on consoles?
I believe PS5 pro will have no trouble of running GTA 6 at 4k/ 60 fps without RT (Ray tracing).
Or on pc with higher framerate. The game certainly isnt sluggish or disconnected in first person mode.
I believe PS5 pro will have no trouble of running GTA 6 at 4k/ 60 fps without RT (Ray tracing). The problem is with RT. I think it will already a win for ps5 pro if it can run GTA6 with RT at 4k/ 40 fps or 50 fps at best. And by that time gta6 is out PSSR ML has already matured allot and updated.
As for base Ps5, I think 4k/40 to 50 fps with no RT can be achieve if the game is properly optimize. A 4k at 30 fps with RT will not be a problem for me as long the game is playable and graphics is decent. I enjoyed playing SH 2 remake at quality mode even at 30 fps. Sh 2 remakes was beautiful and its playable at quality mode for me, and it did not affect my gameplay.
30fps is garbage on OLED.
30 real frames on ps pro are better than 90 fake frames on the Frankenstein PC.I'm sure I'll buy it on PC for the better experience down the line, but that's likely 2027, maybe fucking 2028 if it doesn't launch this year - in the meantime, I'll be playing it Day One on my PS5 Pro, on a 65" Sony A95L. I'll manage.
Lol, this is pure speculation from a guy who abandoned Rockstar 10 years ago.Anyone who believed otherwise was kidding themselves, respectfully. The biggest game of all time, with the most amount of NPCs/AI on screen at once, and likely a ton of other CPU-heavy tasks was not going to warrant a 60 fps mode on console. Rockstar is going to push these machines to their very limit in every category, and it’s only going to be the high end PCs that get GTA 6 to 60 fps and above.
As long as that 30 fps is stable and feels nice, it’ll be fine until the PC port is released.
So who we blaming for this Switch 2 or Series S?
That's the main reason I'm hereOn GAF, we’ve made threads on less.
Yup. Frame rate isn’t an issue I will have. My days of PS1/N64 gaming have mentally strengthened me to look past frame rate.
it's annoying they can't make a game that controls as well as any other third person action game. not even a new one! just give me Uncharted 2 or Rise of the Tomb Raider quality. the drunk, wobbly physics was horrible starting with GTA 4 and feels insane in a game as realistic as RDR2.It's Rockstar 30fps too, so it's chocked full of horrific input delay too. Red Dead 2 was enough to never experience that again.
