I downloadad SA on series x. The framerate is off. I guess it is frame pacing. It is NOT pleasant to play. Even my pentium 4 celeron 2.4ghz ran it better back in 2005...

Even after this GTA fiasco, people will not understand why the digital future is not as bright as they assume.
Content is changed, deleted, or entire games are taken away from "buyers". Which is possible, because no one owns the purchased product - you just have a right to play the game for as long and in the state that the rights holder provides.

It's interesting because there is NO WAY to own the product.
Having gta iv on disc on 360 and ps3 is just a cheat haha.
But it's the only legit way to play this game with original content, music and graphical effects.
The xbox one backwards compatibility versions all download the "new music" versions apparently. And it's not a small deal. Most of vladivostok radio got nuked and it's very nostalgic to those who played in 2008. It was in trailers too

We're not in the '90 anymore, the info is there everywhere, and this is not a limited print game at all.

I'm truly disheartened by this. I saw a video showing how they improved the garbage-tier weapon mechanics from the original series and my jaw just about dropped. They fixed the only legitimately terrible thing about the originals but broke a bunch of other things in the process.

I can't get my head around the state of these remasters, especially from an industry leader like Rockstar. Were these games rushed out with a forced deadline due the overwhelming negative feedback of the GTA V trailer? Because I really can't think of any other reason. If this was supposed be the beginning of a long marketing campaign for the next GTA this could end up hurting the brand image even further more than anything. Complacency gets you nowhere and it takes constant work and effort to stay at the very top. Heavy is the head that wears the crown as they say. Public perception can change very quickly especially within the gaming community and Rockstar should maybe think more carefully how they proceed in future if they really think they can make the franchise endure and last as long as James Bond.
