This is going to absolutely murder computers. Goodbye to my 2080 Founder's Edition. They probably released the trailer 2 years early so people can set a couple grand aside
to buy a card that will run this.
lol add another year for pc release as usual. They always do that to catch double dippers.

On the other hand, I couldn't give a shit about Vice City due to not really being interested in Miami/Florida as a location (never played pre-San Andreas GTA's either). The trailer did get me a little hyped though, GTA V is tonally a mess and a lot of their observations about contemporary American culture and mindset seemed shallow and off. I don't know, but their vision of a West Coast in 2010's didn't fully seem executed.

But now, I feel like they are going all in on the madness and absurdity of Florida and culture in 2020's. I already like Lucia and Jason (names from leaks) more than I like the trio from GTAV. Arthur Morgan showed us that R* is really making sure their protagonists are as good as any other part of the game if not better.

It looks like dynamic events are going to be very impressive and social aspect of the game with nightlife is going to play a major part. Can't wait to see more.

I guess it's nice to see some of the locations and vibe but other than that I don't know what's exciting about this trailer.
It's just more GTA.

Hopefully the gameplay and mission design aren't dogshit like GTAV

Glad there's a Western dev not afraid of making women with butts and boobs, and a little sexuality.

Sad that has to be said but it is what it is.

A female character being thicker or heavier is not "off". It's the correct way.

Just don't make her into a bucket of lard. Then you've gone too far.
Graphically off from what standard npc models look like. Just looks different

2025, LOL ok. 12 years after GTA V. That's insane
Unlike other studios this one has quite a bit of equity but let me just say as an old man yelling at the clouds that I'm not really a big fan of the twerking and all that stuff being put on so I hope they don't completely cut the balls off the game. I'm excited because I'm a fan of the game in the gameplay from the very beginning even if I didn't know all the stories but depending on who it was handled they could continue their run with me or lose some equity. Not that it's going to matter because it's going to be a massive pit. This game is as Pop culture as it comes.

I know it's a different environment, setting, etc., but RDR2 came out in 2017 and is still one of the best looking games and could run on a PS4. So it's not just the better hardware baseline but the by far best production values in the industry. Nobody else can put the resources into their games that Rockstar does.
Well they are the richest, at least they put their money to good use

I agree. It's cool to have a hot text though but honestly if I never see people in these technical discussions and such then I'm not sure what they even know about high-end graphics or what makes a game impressive. It isn't just about fidelity that it needs to look like pixar. I am more than please by the book of the game we'll play it on my high-end PC if it came out they run on pc.

I think people really forgot the RDR2 trailer, with is visually good in the same way that GTA6 is doing here.

I guess since last GTAV people should keep their expectation in the graphics side. Probably mods will go a huge job in this game.

12 year gap is insane, most of us here probably won't make it to GTA 8 or 9 which is pretty sobering.
I mean...
GTASA - 2004
GTAIV - 2008
RDR1 - 2010
GTAV - 2013
RDR2- 2018
GTAVI - 2025

Even if we take RDR1 out of the equation since Rockstar wasn't a fully unified environment yet thats 5 years between IV and V, 5 years between V and RDR2, and 7 years between RDR2 and VI. You can probably thank covid for those two extra years.

The problem with releasing trailer for a game that still far away from release is what you see in this trailer might not what we get in final game……lot of things change during development.

Yeah, very impressive, I feel like even the current PS5 would struggle with all that detail, the world looks incredibly dense, lots happening onscreen at once. Well, let's hope Rockstar can work their magic.

Trailer was definitely running on a 4090.

Exactly. I'd prefer to see actual gameplay too. Game is too far away to care. Trailer is more typical of old CG trailers more then anything even if it's likely to be in-engine.
