Correct me if I'm wrong but... with the way people discribed the necro as being a little underperforming, these necro changes are underwhelming.

Though having accurate tooltips is fun.

Wonder if this works for WvW.

Map pings and drawing now work for your team instead of only your party.

Should help commanders a ton in WvW if it does.

EDIT: Though that is specifically listed under sPvP. Big oversight if it doesn't work in WvW.

While the massively article states something like the new dungeon rewards are once per account per day, one of the devs on the forum just stated:

"the boss chest can be earned as many times as you can get to it."

edit: Hmm, maybe the massively articles didn't quite say that for the boss chest, but there's the clarification anyway.

Huge focus on Signets making them more viable and attractive. This isn't a bad thing in fact its a great build when you're learning to use the controller setup. Garg was already a beast with his axe/signet build. I fear for his opponents even more now.

Necro changes seem a little light weight. Ranger changes seems awesome too bad I'm not a pet class fan. Necro's are nice as you can easily build out of the pets.

At work. ;_;

Awww yeah boosts for sigils. And now guardian shouts actually remove conditions under pure of voice. Bout damn time.

Happy to see changes to Komali and Sotzz. Also, Braham's shield is awesome, I'm definitely going to grab that tonight.

Definitely gonna get the quiver...and be broke again :(

Hopefully being at work now means an easy download when I get home.

This is basically the "Pets No Longer Fuck Everything Up" Update

Except they can no longer revive dead allies! What the hell?

Edit: In general the ranger forum seems to hate the patch. Mostly all buffs but not enough I guess. No longbow tweaks, not enough pet/spirit hp buff.

I don't play Ranger, so I can't comment on the good or bad of what they got, but I'm just happy that now I can take a ranger into a dungeon with me and not have to worry about the pet drawing inappropriate aggro.

Now they just need to make it so that Jade Maw can't target anything other than players.

Savage Back Banner (5g and 5 guild tokens)

Small warning is you're buying gems. I didn't get mine and my ticket yielded this:

"We are currently investigating some issues with the billing systems and have taken them down temporarily in the meantime. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you."

Living Covington pirates no longer respawn while players are helping Bill and Hekja fight Risen pirates.

Good, that quest was so annoying with Risen and pirates spawning all the time.

Map-marker tooltips for asura gates now state their destinations.

FINALLY. Now if they just did it for the rest of the Asura Gates...

Fixed an event-progression issue with the Pact escort to Temple of Balthazar.

That doesn't mean it's any easier...

It is now possible (but difficult) to catch kegs thrown by Volden.

Yeah I never figured out how to do that one.

Sonic handles my blue balls
Players now receive World XP for defending supply dolyaks from ambushes in WvW.

Yakkity Yak bitches!

Yeah you lucky bums who don't have to work better update us with pretty pictures and stories! I want to know the full account of what the reward is :D

According to GW2Spidy, the current exchange rate for 1 gold just dropped under $0.50. Crazy. This times perfectly with Anet's
NCsoft's?
decision to add a $100 gem purchase option with this patch. There were people out there buying the $50 option twice at a time...

For anyone at work wanting updates, we can't run the dungeon right now, it's bugged and they're trying to release a new build soon to fix it.

Man that shield is serious business.

One of the better weapon skins. Wish they'd do more with the other spirits, but Braham is clearly a "lone wolf" in accordance with Eir's affinity with Wolf.

hey guys, just got this, is the european gaf guild on Gandara active or should I just make my chars on the us server? thanks

EU GAF guild kind of died, I'd just roll on Stormbluff Isle. Everyone who transferred over (or started on SBI in the first place) has said the latency issues are non-existent.

A GAFGuild divided cannot stand.

I really hope they're working on an expansion, this strategy of trying to keep people hooked on a non-subscription game in hopes of them buying more micro transactions isn't very appealing to me.

I haven't bought a single thing through the gem store with actual money. Honestly, the content flow for a game like this is pretty amazing. Not sure where your worries are rooted.

That being said, a full expansion is inevitable.

How so? They're regularly adding new content on a monthly basis, something other MMOs take 3-6 months (sometimes, almost a year) to deliver. Instead of finishing off the content and then waiting and waiting and waiting for the next push, there's always something new to do, or at least look forward to.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have these regular, tasty morsels that keep me gaming rather than gluttonous content binges twice a year.

Anyways, the developers have said that an expansion isn't something they're actively working on at the moment, but I'm sure there's a team percolating ideas for one. There always is.

Just did the new dungeon, our 5th had to be replaced for the final boss and he ended up getting the recipe for the infinite molten berserk tonic. Guy shows up for one fight and gets the best loot of anyone lol.

That's another reason I don't run with PUGs; they have the best fucking luck.

Yeah the thing is I'd rather have bigger expansion sized content even if I have to wait for it, there's just something about whole new zones and big quest chains and new characters that I don't get from new dungeons or guild missions

I can understand this. Due to the nature of the dragons, the game seems mapped out to have expansions. If we get such dedicated support and expansions, I'll be floored. I think we have a year or two to go before we see anything about it.
