Hah, I have mixed feelings about the timer. URTF got a clutch kill in the final few seconds to get just enough to win with the single point cap. Glad it ended with a good one!

So, now that tiers don't technically exist anymore when it comes to WvW, how is SBI? I have a feeling TC will keep getting lumped with one or two of the top three servers and our era of barely winning anything has come to an end. Now it's unfun only owning a sliver and a chore to do dailies in.

But screw em! Tonnes of them are traitors from our server so its fun to kill and gloat over their bodies!

We are super duper awesome though, we went up 3 rankings last reset ^_^

SBI was paired with Isle of Janthir and Anvil Rock. We're in the lead by 9.4k, then Anvil Rock is about 8k ahead of IoJ. I don't think we've lost Stonemist since we yanked it from IoJ shortly after reset (they put all of their forces towards it and left everything else unguarded).

My experience over the last few days (mostly on Friday night) is that Anvil Rock wants to put up a fight but doesn't have the numbers, and IoJ has the numbers but doesn't know how to put up a fight. Friday night was pretty brutal for them both, but it hasn't been a cakewalk. They both threaten us in their own way, but SBI is used to tougher foes and I think we're kind of taking it out on them since we've been pushed around so much.

I think next match up will be less one-sided.

Crab Toss actually has the highest chance of sticking around compared to every other activity introduced in the game. It reminds me of Bar Brawl with it's circumstances.

Because of this, and the hope, it will probably be gone Tuesday.

When the game came out I put all my gold into buying slots. Ran with blue armor for a month, but it was worth it.

Awkward, cause today in chat people were mentioning birthday gifts...and I just deleted my first character. :-/

Yeah, I hope Evilore's right and the improvements made to GAF keep it alive during E3... but this is like my fourth E3 here, and I know how insane GAF gets. I fully expect GAF to be down more than up for the next week or so, and laggy when it IS up.

Hope I'm wrong though, but... it's a tradition at this point, I think.

i'm going to be working but during downtime i'll look at joystiq's liveblog. it's usually all right. and then of course onto gaf after the conferences for the meltdowns.

This will be my first "Next Generation" E3; my account was approved in late 2009, well after the PS360 and Wii launched. I expect the meltdowns to be insane, especially with the water already boiling over the XBone, all hopes being pinned on the PS4 and all the Nintendo Fans hoping for Megatons to save their system.

It's funny, E3 has gotten less and less interesting to me as the PC becomes my platform of choice. I don't think I'll even pick up any of the next gen consoles; between GW2 and Starbound I'm kind of set for the next few years.

So now it's fun sort of being above the fray, looking in.

He thinks end of June patch is one of his favorite

(A:) (Paraphrasing) Cantha is definitely not cut from the game, you will just have to wait and see. ;)

(A:) We will be continuing to work on our dungeons.

(A:) Our answer to raiding may very well be in the works!

You need 100,000 Zhaitaffy candy for the wings. They can also be sold on the TP.

Moa racing doesn't have you controlling the moa like rollerbeetle racing in GW1, disappointing.

It doesn't sound like there is a way to get jade weapons through candy at all, unless he just neglected to mention it. It's all RNG in the coffers. You can get coffers from winning in the new dragon bash PvP arena, though

More info on the weapons

GW2Hub: People are keen to avoid the RNG that has plagued some of the previous content, is there going to be a large proportion of randomness to obtaining the best items or can players expect to complete the content and be rewarded?

Will: We feel with this that we have a good mix of both of those. We have one set of holographic wings that come from Dragon Ball (a rare chance of getting it) and also the meta-achievement to get another set of wings. They are the shattered wings while the drop wings are bat-like. Those can also be bought off the Zhaitaffy vendor. As far as weapon drops, we will have a weapon set available and tickets will drop in regular and rich Dragon Coffers which you can get in the gem store. The regular Dragon Coffers, unlike other festival boxes will be tradable. They will drop off everything in the world and are rewarded them for doing almost everything.

We like the RNG style, but we also like to offer players several different ways to get rewards. We've given RNG and a way of working at it as well. The odds are much better than before. We've also modified multiples of rewards so you get them much more (as opposed to once). We feel that'll give players the more ability to get what they want. Lastly, the weapon sets available is also a full set and we're adding a Black Lion Specialist where players can use any previously unused tickets to obtain items from Wintersday or a choice of the molten weapons.

Also: the flintlock on the rifle and pistol is apparently "a burning ember which smokes".

So I guess I'm done with Southsun? Grabbed all the samples except the JP one, got the two backpieces, beat Canach and NULL (thanks for running me through that), and did the last Kiel instance.

Maybe I'll try Crab Toss again. :lol

Lastly, we headed out into the game world to track down the dragon holograms that have begun to appear in the game world. Once activated, they spawn several creatures (similar to Wintersday or Halloween) that you can kill and loot. Although relatively easy to kill and plentiful on each map, it's a great distraction as the loot of Zhaitaffy and the chances of obtaining a weapon ticket is quite generous.

Oh snap, I'm on TC. Hit me up with where he goes any given time and I'll ask some questions if you guys have them. Though I suppose you guys could always just guest and ask yourselves. How does guesting work when a server is full? Are there a bunch of reserved spots for guests?



On another note, I finally got my one and only SouthSun crate and guess what was in it??? Everyone's favorite bikini clad blonde! She will now either be my minion slave or I could sell her when the price inevitably becomes insane once you can't get the crates anymore. She's already worth 30G :D

This is me we're talking about ... my record in bank gold is a whooping 15g :[

I know that the wings are a rare drop in the coffers but how rare are they in the Rich Coffers? Are they even IN the Rich Coffers? Cause it looks like I'm gonna need the RNG god's favor for this one :[

Maybe i should use my Warrior for this? She has ZERO MF but seems to have amazing luck in getting Unidentified Dyes (I think that may be because she just kills everything she comes across ... not ele-kitting) and even got a Ravaging Flame Great Sword drop from a random separatist ... my ele can't get anything worth jack outside of materials even with Full MF gear :/

Wow, and Battlefront! That would be so awesome.

I always felt like Mirror's Edge had this incredible set of skills and design decisions for freedom of movement, constrained by an unflinchingly linear set of levels which wound up more like "courses," (which, don't get me wrong, is perfect for time trials, I just wish that had been a secondary/outside-of-main-game-mode feature) when being able to traverse an open world as Faith would be such a blast.
