Glad this came out in PC because it reminded me how much I love this game. Downsampled 4k looks amazing, can't imagine how good native 4k must look.

So this game is single-handedly responsible for improving my PC gaming experience tenfold.
I purchased and installed it, started it up, and by default it came up in 720p windowed. So naturally, I go immediately to the graphics options and set it up to 1080p then Alt-Enter to fullscreen (i'm running a 970, i7, 16GB ram, etc) and start a match. It drops down to about 15fps.....
This isn't the first time I've run into this, and I couldn't ever figure out why. I figured with my setup I should be able to get at least a steady framerate at 1080p, but I rarely could, so I always ended up making effect, aliasing, and resolution sacrifices to get something playable.
So after reading about nearly everyone downsampling this game in the thread, I am thinking, "no way, there has to be something wrong here", so I start looking. I update every driver, and then dig into the Geforce Config tool. I'm going setting by setting and I finally get to refresh rate, and saw it was sitting at a sub optimal setting, don't remember which. Then I remember that since I bought my 4k TV, the HDMI port that my PC was plugged in to supports up to 120hz refresh rate. I bumped it up to the correct refresh rate and tried again.
Completely rock solid framerate, with all effects enabled and maxed. I begin to get excited. I load up a few other games that I had installed, Dying Light and Shadow of Mordor, go into the in-game settings and max everything out. Rock solid framerate still. I was overjoyed. I can't believe I didn't check that setting before.
Anyways, that's just my little story. This game has totally upgraded my entire PC gaming experience.
On-Topic: I finally got to play as Sin, since he wasn't locked behind the funny money unlock system, and I finally found a main. On PS4 I was switching between Sol and Chipp, but neither felt right to me. After beating Arcade mode with Sin, (bummed there was no dialogue or story at all for his path) I knew who I was maining.

Nevermind, got it working! I copied the settings file from pastebin and replaced what I had and it works now. Not sure what was causing the problem but I'm happy now.
That didn't work for me, had to put -SIGN- at the end (, one with and without a space after Xrd to be safe)

It's just muscle memory. The Xbone controller is the only pad i have for the time being and It's been holding up pretty well for me. Waiting for the new MC sticks so until then its gonna have too. You using the analog stick or the dpad?

Analog sticks are very twitchy and i constantly jumping instead of quarter-circle or half-circle. Maybe dpad is more accurate, i need to play a little more.

VPN is not required. The key is region-free and it activates as "GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN- First Month Purchase".

Yes, you should use the dpad for fighting games, not the analog sticks.

Game feels less smooth and fluid than Guilty Gear AC+ R. Just like playing an old SF or KOF game and then jumping to the post-2009 iterations.
I like the art style too, they did the best they could for a new fighting game and also improved character animation when compared to the older games. As for the story, I'll just skip it. Awfull! Text scenes would have sufficed

I'll test the game on the laptop PC (an old i5 CPU/2.4 Ghz with Nvidia GT555M).

Setting forceAnisoLevel back to 0 gets rid of the red splotches, though the UI will be unfiltered.

Noticed a few steam reviews saying the game's multiplayer region locked on PC, this true?
You only see lobbies from your region when searching, but can play with friends globally as far as I know.
Don't know if it only shows a limited amount of currently open lobbies and selects those from your region first or if it is impossible to see lobbies from other regions though.

Really? No wonder I'm not finding people to play with even though I have good connection. Arcsys need to fix this or the population will drop fast.

I have no idea if this is a placebo effect, but my Steam Download region had been set to West Africa for some reason (probably slow MGSV download speeds) and I wasn't getting any player match rooms showing up at all. I switched it back to a US one and suddenly a bunch of player match rooms appeared. Could be coincidence, but, it's something to try I guess?
It seems that nuuvem restricts each IP address to one key, so unfortunately I'll not be able to help anyone else out
I believe it's per account. Either you or the person you're helping can make a new account and you can use that new account to make the purchase.

Yeah, the quality of the menus in particular are really shoddy. Jagged lines, distorted images. In-game looks fantastic though!
Huh, never even caught wind of this Elphelt character. She's certainly...well-endowed! I have a slight case of chest envy! Haha!
Other than the HUD it runs perfectly over here.
If they can patch in arbitrary resolution support, clean up the UI issues and fix the lobby problems it'll be in a near perfect state. It's good to see Arcsys doing a good job on this, makes me less worried about how BB:CP Extend & UNiB are going to turn out.

720p more than likely for you. Bump the resolution up to 1080p if you think your GPU can handle it. Turn Frame Per Second counters on and see if you keep above 60.

I have the regular 650 and I was getting a solid 60 fps on 1080p.

I didn't even know you could play M.O.M. with other people. I thought it was just a type of survival mode akin to Blazblue's Score Attack.
Well the thing is, I'm not finding very many rooms if any. Every search besides like 1-2 has been "no rooms found." Ranked or unranked, any mode.
I just wanted to try M.O.M. player matches out to see what it is. :/
