Gwent - Open Beta Thread: Not bad, not bad at all

This is actually the dumbest game breaking glitch I've ever encountered in any video game and that's saying a lot considering I play a lot of shit games.

If this game is to ever become a good game, it'll have to fix all of these insane glitches. This isn't the only one; I know it's beta but I have zero confidence in CD Crap fixing all of them.

Have you tried to repair your game? Coz you seem to get a lot of these issues, while I haven't gotten a single issue, nor seen others here mention any.

Maybe you're just putting in that much more hours than me, so seeing more issues. But do report them here - en.cdprojektred.com/contact-support/.
I reported a bunch of stuff during closed beta, and the devs got on to them pretty quickly.

You're into hyperbole and it comes off trolly. Sorry my man, calling it how it is. It's a beta, report the bugs to them, that's the point.

But I'm not generalizing all people with green dinosaur avatars though. I'm talking about you in particular. 🤔

I will say that I've put in way more hours than you and am curious what is causing that particular bug because I've never gotten that one.

This seems kind of strange but whatever, I'll take it.

Can make whatever deck I want now but not sure what to go with. Expecting a pretty hefty amount of scraps when the 30 per purchased kegs comes through

Oh cool. Didn't realize that rare premiums mill for 50 meteorite now. Did a couple and had enough for another legendary -> premium - >scraps
 
I have mixed feelings about the meteorite powder > scraps thing. I dont think it should apply to the cards crafted or obtained after the patch. Oh well, good for us.
 
If they wanted to avoid this they could have made premium cards only mill for scraps + powder. If someone was fortunate enough to have a bunch of nerfed premiums they could stock up on powder but that doesn't really do anything. They had to have seen this coming and were fine with it
 
I have to say that even if I can take advantage of this, I am really disappointed that they are letting this happen, considering that I've blown some cash for kegs and I could have gotten way for value for the money doing this powder into premium into scraps kind of loop.

So, mental note, do not buy more kegs with irl money
 
Got like 16k scraps! Will figure out what to spend it on during the weekend. Feel free to list some good cards if you feel strongly about them.

Opened the kegs I was hoarding, and got some silvers and a gold (Rainfarn). I was going to craft that card, so it's good that it saved me the scraps there.

To be fair, this is a one time golden opportunity for people that really want to complete their collection, and don't mind paying for it.

You basically get 14400scrap for each 55e of dust you buy, doing the premium nerfed card disenchant loop

So I found out why milva was not working since it happened again with the same cards on the board.

Apparently there are cards other than leader cards that have the stubborn stat so that's why milva wasn't working. This is bullshit and they need to color cards differently or something if they have the stubborn stat.

Also ragnarok and drought need to be adjusted further

Make them do 1 dmg on each row, but if there are 2 cards of same value then they both take dmg (currently only one card takes dmg if both cards are same value)

the cool thing is if you have the scraps you can test drive any of the nerfed legendaries and just mill them again later for full value. made an Emhyr spy deck with Rainfarn + Menno. Play hella spies then drop the Menno nuke. Still trying to figure out its win condition though. I think it'd be possible to generate enough CA for a safe Tibor. I'll have to investigate

Yep, I got mine. Went through the list and milled every card I had that was on the list for full scrap value. I now have about 18k scrap. Should go a long way into filling out the collection. I'll look into buying some meteorite powder later if it feels I still don't have the capacity to switch decks/factions easily.
 
Got like 5k+ scrap all in all I believe. But I didn't bother saving till it was late. Got like 2200 from bought ones or something too! If anybody still thinks Blizzard is more generous then I don't know where their brain is..
 
Just from milling my extras I got over 2k scrap. LOL.

I will be over 4k after I do the premium transmute too. Just a baffling amount of scrap now.

No idea what I'll do with it since I suspect my NR deck is unplayable in its current state (nerfed Reavers), so I'll have to fool around with Machines and Henselt maybe.

Or maybe I just invest all the scrap is ST or Monsters and give up on NR.
 
Well I made a nice mulligan deck for ST and have won 1 game out of about 8 games I played with it. Fortunately I also made a deck based on movement archetype and that seems to be much more promising so far.
 
I know people on GAF follow the meta enough to not play the mid level Dwarves anyways (I still ride or die cause I'm a casual that doesn't care about rank), but I ran into a big new bug with Sheldon Skaggs that can be game losing. His mass relocate is overlapping cards and getting them stuck on the board for the rest of the game. Not stuck in the "yay, free cards" way. Suck in the "this thing is doing nothing, yet it can't be manually selected in the graveyard either" way.

I've been able to go from one competitive deck to four with this patch. God bless CDProject. I have more relevant cards in this after 3 weeks than I do in HS after 3 years.
 
It only pains me a little to mill all of the premium versions of cards being changed that I pulled earlier. The value is just too good, so now the only premiums I have left are cards not being changed at all.
 
Anyone having an extremely hard time signing in? I keep getting errors, including one that told me I was signed in on another device, which I know is total bullshit.
 
Holy shit. I began playing one month ago. Less actually. I've bought 40 kegs, and otherwise just done a bit each day. I now have 7210 scraps since i've hoarded nerfed rares and had like 5 premium QG. I also made a Premium Ithlinne i got from a keg. You da real MVPs CPR.

I have no idea what to spend them on. Better wait, lol.
 
Machines are fun and I finally get to play John Natalis. Don´t know where they´ll fall when all is said and done but I´m having a ton of fun atm.

Axemen will be played for a while and then people will remember that Mardroeme, Peter, Cyprian obliterate them. Not to mention all the other soft counters (debuff, lock, scorch...).
I love axemen but if they become popular, it is really easy to tech against them without too many downsides.
