Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn - Part 4 [Available To Watch]

Don't know if I should watch the weekly episodes or just wait for the Blu-ray and watch it all in one go...

Has a release date for the Blu-ray been announced yet?
 
Almost as good a birthday present as the €500 i just got.

Which reminds me that i should get around to finally pre-ordering Halo 4

Are there plans to put it up on Waypoint once they are all released? My wife and I planned on waiting to view these and watching it all in one shot on Halo 4 eve. It'd be nice if it were all together. However, now that I see a Bluray is forthcoming, I suspect it will not make it to Waypoint as a complete film anytime soon.
 
yuh...It's terrible, It's like they hired fans for the cinematography.

No, but if you buy the LE of Halo 4 it comes with a digital version presented as a single film, with some slightly different scenes and editing to accommodate that format. Also these episodes are all streaming on Machinima Prime and HaloWaypoint.

Awesome, thanks. I guess we'll just watch it piece by piece on Waypoint as it's too late to order the LE. With both of us playing, we really can only drop the $120 on two standard copies.

pretty much what i expected, nothing spectacular as of yet though it's early days. lasky's condition seems to be the only interesting plot point so far. it doesn't have the feel of being in the halo universe just yet but that is partly the product of the games focusing little on the 'every man' marine & this being set before the covenant threat. the unsc armour is pretty daft looking in reality as well, at least without major adjustment.
still not terrible by any means & i enjoyed it despite my criticism.

also, ms. popplewell is lovely.
 
It was good, but man does the Halo universe's weapons, vehicles, uniforms, etc look like complete ass in live action.

The Warthog was just cringe inducing.
 
I really enjoyed it. I'm also enjoying reading NeoGAF fawn over Popplewell. Never change.

weapons and other stuff looked really good, still hate the combot gear on the cadets. looks like the armor is way too big for the actors.

liked the first episode but maybe they should have aired episode 1 and 2 as a double feature.

Very cool, can't wait for the rest of the episodes.

One thing that bothersome, Lasky keeps referring to the Ma'am as a Sir.

She is sir. CAMS rules. It's the 26th century. There is actually a series of subtle gender subplots if you watch the whole thing.

Btw I thought it was very well done. Very well cut and paced.

Minor complaints about CG here and there but still... This is already looking like the best "movie" based on a game property already :p
 
The SFX are cool. They obviously did put a lot of money filming those, except they forgot to hire believable actors.

Nope. Not following.
 
I see a lot of potential with the series but I am mostly just watching for the action scenes. The whole high school... I mean 'academy'... drama doesn't really interest me. I was waiting for one of the actors to yell, "you guys just don't understand me!"

Lol i was in basic and called a female officer sir and she said
"Did you just call me SIR?! Do you want me to whip my dick out and slap you with it!?" i exploded laughing and promptly was dropped to 150 push ups :/
