Halo needs to be more accessible to more people without an XB1, or in regions where Xbox isn't popular. I want to see the game release on PC, increasing users and competition.

The production quality of these streams are high, and the game is really exciting to watch. Halo could be huge in esports.

Hmm, so are there going to be in-game objectives? (With the crawler kill counter)

And I wonder if that's for bonus points, REQ energy, or some sort of timed elimination crunch.

Worth noting that the ARC map doesn't look too different. Could just be that it's still early, or it could suggest that it's much more about choosing what area to make your stand (or do they want you to roam the map rather than hunkering down?)

One thing though: they need to have some non-"Kill X" objectives in there. Retrieve package (flag), place package (bomb), escort thing, defend spot. Those are all pretty necessary as well.

Halo 3 was the epitome of pro talent IMO. The days of Instinct vs. Triggers Down vs. Final Boss are sorely missed.

Any interesting details gleamed from that trailer? Looks like objectives are things like "kill x of y type of enemy", maybe the wave respawns endlessly until you do?

Was the timer counting up or down?

I've gotta admit I was hoping they'd sneak a release data in there.

Firefight looks pretty crazy but it didn't really give that much of an idea what the gameplay will be like other than shit tons of AI enemies. And yeah, Escape from A.R.C. again......
