Recently, sure, but back in the Halo glory days there was some cool stuff. I think the Halo 3 helmet was one of the cooler LE's. If they go that route again I may bite. No one will ever sell me on displaying a Marcus Fenix statue though.
And you can ALWAYS find them in clearance bins or at bargain basement pricing a few months later.

Could Master Chief actually be getting shot at? It took me a while to get the picture because each frame was a bitch to get (I'm on my phone.. That's why.) but it looks like from the flash of the scope of the sniper rifle.

Sorry, in the scope of the gun you can see a reflection of light of a figure in the way.
I suppose that's how everyone in Nightfall talks too.

The leaked live action commercial shows Chief battered and beaten down in front of the rock, maybe Locke and him get into a fight and right before he's about to 'terminate' Chief, Locke let's him live. The sniper bullet through helmet is definitely a visual they used for a reason. We're meant to believe Locke is going to kill Chief or at least try.

I don't see Locke going toe to toe with Chief in CQC. Chief should be superior.
Locke will surprise Chief or Locke has an entire team with him to stop Chief.

Oh definitely. Locke isn't a Spartan-II. But he has the benefit of the fact that he's an ONI operative and is out to 'hunt' Chief whereas whatever is going through Chief mind, is for the first time, not having a clue where to go or what to do. He was always told, kill the Covenant, escort so and so, do your job. Now, he doesn't have Cortana and was wondering aimlessly through a desert.
I think just as Chief will discover the truth, be about to bring Cortana back or something, Locke's team will ambush him etc. Who knows though.

Yeah since we know we're playing as the Chief at least some stealth or alternate mechanics or adjustments to speed, strafe, etc. to make Locke feel different would be welcome.

I'm imagining a level where you start off as Chief and you are fighting enemies to get somewhere. After a bit, you transition to Locke where you're in the same location, but on a different path. You start to converge on Chiefs path. Perspective changes after some set pieces and then one big moment happens to distract Chief long enough for Locke to find him. Then a big confrontation of epic proportions happens.

Chief should not play like a Spartan 4 in Halo 5 since it makes no sense lore wise. Have him play like he did in Halo 1-3, and Locke can play like a normal Halo 5 spartan.

I still can't understand the motivation behind trying to make Chief a "bad" guy, going back to H4. It's never sat right with me. First they take the most celebrated and revered warrior in human history and treat him with inexplicable disrespect (Del Rio and Palmer). Now he's going to be wanted somehow.
Bungie left the franchise with some of the most interesting FPS lore around, and....making Chief a renegade seemed the way to go. But I guess it's got to go somewhere after you take the mystery plot device (Forerunners) that has served very well for five games and use that up as a cheap antagonist in one single installment.
Use flashlight for active camo.
Assuming Halo 5 has a flashlight (or that it can even render them).
The only motivation you need is people trying to cover their asses about the Spartan II program who see the II's as liabilities. That's why Halsey was scapegoated, and now that's why it seems they are going after Chief. It really has nothing to do with how heroic he was; they just want any trace of that to go away. I do agree that Del Rio was handled very badly though. Palmer never really disrespected the guy, just gave him a lighthearted quip.

To what degree? Matchmaking is doing an okay job of kicking off games these days.
Said games might be horribly matched, they occasionally crash on load or end early, the ports still have substantial issues, and the playlist settings are still terrible.
But yeah, you can usually get the ball rolling now.

I'd assume Chief's armor has been updated since he's returned. I think Locke should have more stealth elements to him while Chief is a kickass jet fighter tank.
