Is 343i doing SpOps CGI stuff or is it another company?
Forge thing is perplexing. 343 didn't just work on it. Certain Affinity worked on it too with them, and yet Forge still looks like crap. How many devs will it take to make a good Halo map creator? 10? Game looks great in other areas but this one just leaves me scratching my head.
Im sure it will be, but it won't help the fact that other modes are less than evolved and improved. I am psyched for Spartan Ops, and I hope its successful, but I really wish they invested a little more into theater and forge also. And vehicles.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. I don't see it as a big loss.Because it would have taken more man-hours to get multi-user support working than players would have actually spent using it.
What puzzles me the most is that from we've seen so far nothing has been done about the problem of all Forge maps looking the same. Having 3 different Forge levels helps a bit but with levels that are nearly completely build out of Forge objects it doesn't help too much.we are still talking about 7 year old hardware. forge will look better on 720/next but it will never look as good as the main-maps, unless they make forge a priority in development.
I hope with having smother missions they can mix things up more than in campaign. Like in Spec Ops in CoD where you have a training course level, a jetski race level, stealth levels, etc. That could help Spartan Ops set itself apart from campaign. Personally I would've rather seen FireFight (ODST's version) back and more focus on other aspects of the game. I didn't watch any of the MP livestreams, did it show anywhere the number of players allowed in each playlist? That's the only main thing left that I really want to know.

Swat is in. You can choose to start with either the BR or the DMR.

You can align objects fine with the coordinate system. I'd wager it's even more useful than the magnet system because that only seems to allow you to connect objects in very specific ways. Duplicating items is useful but nothing earth shattering either.honestly i think the simple magnet and duplication thing is tremendous. I never liked forging due to the difficulty of lining things up perfectly and accidentally grabbing the wrong thing. Overall it may not seem much but I think the small details they did are big game changers. At least in terms of ease of use for beginners and people who suck at it like me.
What playlist is that in then? I keep reading that every playlist is one gamemode, and there's not a listing for that.
Good question. Kevin Franklin spoke about it in the Bravo vid saying that it is in the game. He didn't specifically say it would have a launch playlist though.
We have no idea whether or not the playlists that have been leaked are final or if they will update it before launch.
