I. Can't. Wait. To. Play. Swat.
Sweeping BR headshots. So bad.

I feel like the Mantis would be a much better fit on Meltdown than Valhalla.
Halo 4 feels barren in the vehicle department. I would still like to see a new air vehicle and a new land vehicle. One of these things should be forerunner.
Question for Ellis or Frankie:
I know this is super nit-picky, but I'm curious. Why is there little similarity between the Lasky character in FUD and the character in the actual game? I mean, shouldn't they at least have the same haircut or something?
Also, if I'm mistaken and one of these fellas isn't actually Lasky, my apologies. Also also, I don't mean to turn this into a "BUT THERE SHOULD BE DIFFERENT GRAVITY IN LOW ORBIT" type of thing. I'm just curious, that's all. First episode was great.
There is Dexterity, and then there's all those other kinda "neat" stuff. Faster reloads AND weapon swapping, too good.
Guys: I think I just figured out who killed JFK.my fault, I take full responsibility.
Sweeping BR headshots. So bad.
SWAT will not be the same without the DMR *sniff*
What they should have done is just given everyone faster weapon switching and reload by default. Then there would be a lot more use of those other perks. Right now, I see a few other perks that may get used a little, but in most games dexterity will be the way to go.
What if... it had both?
I'm going to be anticipating a huge lion to come out of nowhere are start smashing the covenant.

Also, I can't unsee Narnia whenever I watch FUD.

It won't. H3 SWAT had no Carbine, Reach SWAT had no Needle Rifle (such a beautiful weapon). They're going to lock SWAT to one weapon.
He is the mane character of the franchise.Just what is under the Chief's helmet??
Thanks.
I think I'll go with Shielding and Dexterity.
Don't really see a reason to pick anything else.
I can see why the needle rifle wasn't included (it'd me annoying to get super combined constantly)
It'd be awesome to see the Carbine, DMR, Lightrifle, and BR appear.
Random note; I hate adele. I'm very disappointed they used her for the Skyfall song.
Seriously, if someone could give me Grover Cleveland with a Spartan Laser, that would be my avi in a heartbeat.
But Halo 3 didn't have loadouts, so that's kind of a moot point. Though I guesss they could have littered them around the maps. I dunno what the excuse for Reach is, but I definitely expect H4 SWAT to have some different rifle options. It won't. H3 SWAT had no Carbine, Reach SWAT had no Needle Rifle (such a beautiful weapon). What type of shotgun mic? I'd like to test it out if thats okay. I'm looking to purchase one to start building a library of sounds. This is awesome. Seanador, I'll definitely read your interview with Frankie.
Tashi, Domino, Duncan, Hyper, and Biggy, I've rented out the equipment for next week. I'm ready.
Marantz, dead cat, 2 XLRs, 3 SD cards totaling 40 GB, shotgun microphone, and the boom pole.
It is not about being politically correct it is about honoring the memory.
As far as being hypocritical like I just said it is all about context. I'm fine with jokes about immoral people but not about people who died innocently. The best way to think about whether or not a joke about a death is ok would go like this:
1)Was this person innocent? Did they die tragically? Was he or she a good person?
2)If this person was good or innocent think about how you would feel if you were a direct family member. Would you want people making jokes?

I was looking at the Rhode NTG-1, but it sounds a little too thin for my liking.
I think Frankie said while we were playing SWAT on Reach that in Halo 4 you can bring whatever loadout you want into SWAT but the game will block off certain weapons/perks/abilities/specializations.

Alright, enough FUD stuff, I need to get back to marrying this HitscanBattleRifle.gif
Dexterity >>> *
(With Forward Unto Dawn definitely being more like a "movie" than a promo piece)
Is Halo: Landfall the greatest live-action video game short film/promo ever?
I honestly cannot think of a better one
I absolutely love it to pieces, just watched it again and I am still blown away by it,
the style of it is perfect.
I literally do not think they could have made a better piece
I'm not digging the song, but I won't deny that she is a good musician. They should of stuck with Chris Cornell, his "You Know My Name" song is great. I guess they weren't going for an edgy sound for the new film. Nothing beats Shirley Bassey's Bond work though.
Landfall is great, but it always felt like a proof of concept piece rather than a promo piece or a short film. That said, it certainly looks and feels the most authentic, and it beats FUD in the practical effect department.
I think I'm just going to stick with shields and dexterity, since they'll be useful in basically every situation and won't require lots of load out jiggering.
From the FUD thread:
Okay so this is how much of what is written on the bed ceiling I uncovered:
From Earth. For Earth. Honor, Valor, Allegiance, Excellence. From Earth. For Earth. Today, Tomorrow, Forever. Together we rise, together we prevail. Forward Unto Dawn. From Earth. For Earth. Through ?, Victory, through, ?
And the rest is unknown to me.
Anyone have the full thing?
So the covenant actually have LESS vehicles in Halo 4 than in Halo 2, 3, or Reach and the same number as in Halo Combat Evolved??
It's back to: Ghost, Banshee, Wraith - no Chopper, Spectre, Prowler, Revenant?
Only ONE new vehicle (Mammoth = Elephant 2.0, doesn't count)??
And the Hornet is not returning either?
Are you fucking kidding me?? Goddamnit.
Well, lets see. The Spectre, Prowler, and Revenant are all garbage vehicles, no loss there. The Chopper doesn't make sense given the composition of this enemy faction. The Hornet was only viable in multiplayer after a significant nerf, and consistency between single and multiplayer is something that Halo has always strived for.So the covenant actually have LESS vehicles in Halo 4 than in Halo 2, 3, or Reach and the same number as in Halo Combat Evolved??

No u.Well, lets see. The Spectre, Prowler, and Revenant are all garbage vehicles, no loss there.
They could easily have made a new vehicle that functions like the chopper but is from the sangheili or forerunner. The Chopper doesn't make sense given the composition of this enemy faction.
Well, then give me forerunner vehicles then. Or more human vehicles. I'm really disappointed that there are less vehicles in this than in Halo 3.Spoilers Covenant are not that big a focal point this time around.

Would you rather have a bloated count of kinda shitty vehicles, or a decent stable of well-balanced, well thought out vehicles?
I certainly wont disagree with that, I actually believe your correct
but a concept piece and a promo are not mutually exclusive
In this instance anyways, I feel like they congealed into an amazing short
as was my original question,
has there ever been another video game promoting piece that can compare?

I love the overwhelming majority of what 343i did with Halo 4, but toning the vehicular combat back down is just about the worst thing they could do.
What the fuck.
