I wonder how many of you will be suckered into buy season 2 of Spartan Ops when they reveal it tonight. They'll show some new environments, people will get excited, and then they'll realize the new environments are cycled every week for season 2.

Isnt tonight just the second half of season one and dont we already technically have it on our xboxes?

Gutted about Destiny, but at least it makes my decision easier tonight, 2am's a bit too late to stay up for it if Bungie isn't there.

I don't think I even made it to the end of episode 2 for Spops.

It's just so bad.

No fail states, or challenge, or objectives outside of pressing a button. Wasted opportunity feels like an understatement.

For the first time, I'm holding off on a new Halo DLC pack until

1. I hear they're worth it, which is doubtful seeing as they're all BTB maps and BTB is nearly unplayable in Halo 4

2. You can actually play them outside of their dedicated list (lame 6v6 player counts). I honestly feel ripped off after Reach's DLC handling

The bases in Solace. Ruins Oddball on the map, especially because one team gets a considerably better base. Add to that a 3 second respawn time...

When is 343 patching objective respawn timers? That should be a day one fix. I enjoy a lot of Halo 4 but some of it is objectively broken.

there is a AAAA, $100+ million dollar budget first person shooter that, in the year 2012, does not give players the ability to customize their controls on the grounds that "it will prevent glitches" because, presumably, 343 does not have a QA department

AA Efficiency works even better with Regeneration Field because it cuts the AA recharge time in half:

  • Regeneration Field lasts for 10 seconds
  • Without AA Efficiency it takes 30 seconds to fully recharge
  • With AA Efficiency it only takes 15 secs to recharge, leaving you to be w/o a Regen. Field for only 5 secs.

So basically, hang around the Regen. Field and when it's gone, sprint around the map for 5 secs (to control a new spot, pick up an Ordnance Drop, etc.) until you can use another one for 10 secs. Throw that in a team working together with other AA's in Objective gametypes and you got yourself a good loadout :]

Except boot and Guilty spark because I have no idea. (Waypoint maybe?)

Some of these are wrong. I took RG as my first spec. and I got didact hand emblem.

Has anyone else noticed a rash of jetpackers camping out on top of rocks on Ragnarok lately? Both the beach side man cannon "hall" area and the rocks that go over the stream by waterfall base man cannon.

Or am I the only one in here that still plays BTB?

In all seriousness, what do you think, will the SpOps trailer contain?
I mean, I would love to see a mission, where you fly a pelican, broadsword or an other air-craft. So much potential in this co-op campaign.

Still bugs me, that we don't get Destiny news today. :'(
