The commendation doesn't specify Slayer though, I don't think? It probably shouldn't matter?
Does the counter say 0/2? The first level of the commendation only requires one perfection and ones from previous levels aren't counted towards your current level, so if this was your first one, it still counted.

Traditionally Perfections are only in Slayer gametypes. Who the fuck knows with Halo 4 hiding it in commendations.

See my post above, if it was your first perfection, and the counter says 0/2, you're good. It goes from 0/1 of level one straight to 0/2 of level two.

Then it didn't count or Waypoint hasn't updated that yet. Either are possible, but the first one is more likely, since they probably didn't update the Perfection code to be a non-Slayer gametype.
