I agree. It completely does not look like any of the Covenant vehicle we have seen so far. The interior is strange mix of Covenant, Flood and Forerunner. And it just gets thrown im the game without any big explanation if the player knows the device/vehicle from previous games.

It might become deprecated once they go full-on with the new design style :/
As one of the biggest haters of Spartan Ops I can say the recent praise is well deserved. It's obvious where improvents haven't been made, but the ones that are there - environments, encounters, weapons, and vehicles - make a huge positive gain for the mode.

The ~concensus seems to be:
The new SpOps episode, while not necessarily "good," is probably a bit better than the first five.
The new Forge maps in MM have gotten okay reception and have expanded the pool of small maps.
People seem to like the new Forge playlist. And spartan Ops has gotten decently better.

I like the new Forge playlist. The maps are pretty decent (better than most of 4's default slayer maps) and they look better than Reach's Forge maps. Now if only they would bring BTB objective back.

Played first 3 missions of Spartan Ops Episode 6 last night. Was really good.
Much better structure, enviroment, gameplay, options. Makes a big difference to have that extra polish by campaign designers. Feels like the second campaign they were promising. It's all free as well. Really hope they do a second season. I guess they are in pre productions for Halo 5 so hopefully they have some good resource available to do it.

Well you cannot deny David and the spartan ops team didn't take the feedback to heart... Spartan Ops was actually fun and I hope they continue until the end and finish on a high note.
Also, forge playlist is some of the most fun I've had in a while. It's a start and shows 343 are listening. I've almost exclusively been playing the playlist and haven't quit in frustration.

7k exp for a single Spartan Ops match? Wow. Didn't realise it was that much. Sucks that you only get 3k for solo though, even if you spend more time doing it.

Yeah, I saw it and I them fly in and was a little upset it was on the fifth mission with the harvester because I wasn't gonna get to get near it, but we never flew the Broadsword, nor did we even see them helping :/

Was pretty fun. Thus far I'm liking all the map game type combos, although Garrotte and the other doubles maps are a bit claustrophobic--though I'm impressed I don't get immediately shot off spawn.
Oh yeah, definitely fun, just I get it far too often. I think this playtest should have included more maps and more gametypes. Where's my Slayer Pro?
True since the playlist can't support itself it'd be nice to have it in the hoppers for a more general slayer list.

Also, Sycthe doesn't lend itself to play in Swat very well I found. Super easy to predict spawns and instantly spawn kill someone.

No, bro. They are vastly more manageable solo compared to the first half of the season though.
I was getting a bit of lag last night tbh, more than I experienced last week during the Infinity Challenge.
That aside though, the new SpOps was fantastic, really tidy mission and environment design. Yes, we do still press buttons, but they actually have context now, so you press a button that is on or next to a door and the door opens. I don't mind that, that's how doors work.
