I've never heard of ArenaGamingLeague till now, but I'm sort of digging it. The commentary is good enough to make the stream worth a watch.

Not to mention not every person watching necessarily plays Halo 4.

I'm not 'douching' on anybody by sharing an honest, objective opinion. MLG's commentators have long been criticized (and this is a stretch because I don't know you, but that's been going on probably longer than you've even been involved with the MLG community at all).

Puckett's probably the best they've got and even he doesn't really think a lot of things through sometimes. ShockWav3 was alright, too. But if you go and watch professional sports like the NFL, NBA, or MLB, you'll notice an immense discrepancy in quality. Why can't I hold MLG's announcers responsible for the quality of their commentating? They could be better. They know they could be better.

MLG's StarCraft casters are on a different level. They definitely overshadow the Halo crew.

With 3000 viewers on that stream, that's almost 4% of Halo 4's entire active player base. Just to put that in to perspective. 1 in 25 of everyone who will play Halo 4 today is watching that stream.

Peak and daily UUs aren't the same thing. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Halo 4 War Games is seeing over 200k people daily. Not to mention that the "entire active playerbase" isn't going to all be on every single day, so even daily numbers wouldn't be remotely as big as that base.

It seems like a worthy investment since now we know about a bunch of games that are eventually coming out for it rather than knowing nothing and it's not even E3 yet!I mean the off TV usage will be nice too for Netflix since I could just take it around the house and keep watching stuff if I need to. If you go in you can search for a name and then send them a friend request. They then get a notice. If you go through the friends list option they never get it because that's the old fashioned way of each of you adding each other.
