I dunno. It's weird. In a game like BF3 where there are some 150 ranks, I don't feel like I'm grinding constantly. In Halo 4 however, I feel like the whole thing is just one big chore. Might have something to do with the fact that you need to get through all 130 to unlock everything I guess

I bet it's the gameplay that's not as rewarding so it feels like more of a grind

I wish it was just purely cosmetic unlocks up to 130. And they should have had much more cosmetic unlocks for things like campaign and spops. The only thing you get is the Mark VI helmet and an emblem on legendary campaign. Not much replay value imo.

Oh no? I feel like its a grind in both Halo and BF3 tbh. In Halo at one point, it just feels exactly like in Reach, which is not a good thing. You just get shit that i really don't give two shits about. Shoulder pads, chest plates....man, couldn't care less. Where as COD imo has it down perfectly. No matter what rank you are in that game, your always unlocking something interesting, and more frequently. So even tho it takes a while to prestige many times, you get so much in between that you never really get bored of it. That to me is the main reason why this game is consistently on top of the charts every year. Halos system just bores me.

I like to team up and play against randoms. I also like to continue to work towards SR130. Playing random custom games is fine, but I like the Gaf vs. Randoms aspect of BTB. Especially when we roll.

MS have a contract with Activision for COD exclusives maybe they will renew the contract for Destiny?
