Yeah I'm kinda torn. It seems like a horrible value and a ripoff really. I want the Strider helmet that the non-LE Season Pass gets but I also want the specializations early in case they happen to be useful. I don't like being locked out of content that is game changing even if it's just temporary.

I thought about canceling my LE pre-order but I like the extra stuff and prefer gettinf the Specializations and the Prime skin over the 2 helmets and falcon emblem that are included with the map pass.

Agree with you. Its pretty silly that individuals that ordered the most expensive version of the game in advance (many of which probably payed in full months in advance) with the notion that they were buying the most "complete" version get burned. I know 343 is looking into delivering stuff at a later date, but the season pass exclusive shit should automatically be given to LE buyers.

I am SO close to cancelling it... but re-reading the Halsey journal makes me worried I could miss something very cool with the Briefing Packet.

Also when did the price of books go up? Just ordered The Thursday War, I dont remember paperback books being upwards of 10 quid. I guess the push to digital has made physical books more expensive? Either way I feel like im spending way too much money on video games (or video game stuff) lol :(

I'm SO glad I missed that one picture, although I did get to read that great definition of "mudshark"

This is a female that wants to crush her father's hopes and dreams, so she exclusively dates black men and makes a lot of noise when accomodating the licorice stick. This type of chick either winds up dead, or with five oreo cookies and welfare money, which the fathers will spend on additional booze, whores, and drugs. It is a vicious cycle.

I'm gonna repost some gametype ideas I had last night:

Another idea for a game mode- Dominion Neutral Bomb

Each team starts with one base, non capture-able by enemy. Bomb is in the center, plant it to score points and reset enemy base to lowest mode forcing them to re-fortify. Possibly one neutral base that can be captured by both teams to provide additional support.

Its basically a take on neutral bomb, but has the dynamic base defense mechanisms from Dominion.

Imagine Flood + Dominion. Humans hold down and establish bases, the Flood invade and capture/destroy them while infecting human survivors. It would be a cool twist for infection, not a replacement for it though.


Please let this be forge-able. In fact, if Frankie or David could answer... would these ideas even be possible?

I'm feeling the same. Sigh... Maybe i could scrape togheter some games i'm not going to play anymore and trade them for Halo 4, i could push down the price quite a bit with some games (since i get extra value at Gamestop for trading in used games, 25%+10% (not sure how they count them but anyway)).
I'll get (probably) the specializations as pre-order bonus (LE doesn't need them ofc) so i can trade them here for something else.
I don't have many games i can trade-in though... I'd trade in Reach but since it is LE, they won't accept it without the LE case and Halsey's Journal (not here anyway).

Well...good point. Still, I bet there will be something there to 'scratch that itch'. Maybe something where you just plant charges and its not a separate pickup and something that everyone can do? One way or another I just hope they really expand the options that Dominion will bring.. It has a ton of potential, and even its normal version looks like an absolute blast.

But first, the most important thing is the new Infection gametype in Halo 4, now called "Flood". Yeah, you read right. Why this gametype is wearing this name ? Because infected players will play as a flood combat form during those games ! As you can see in these images below, Floods are back in a all new different form, especially made for the multiplayer. 12 players, 10 as survivors, 2 as Alpha Zombies. Infected players have deadly claws for melee damage and enhanced vision, but actualy, we don't know if they will play as a flood, like the previous Halo Campaigns (in terme of mouvement, speed and jump). That was the big thing.

The Limited edition seems less appealing by the day with the recent news about the specializations access not being exclusive and the waypoint streamed content. We don't seem to be getting much relative to the price difference.

I'll still probably get it.. I'm hoping 343 rewards the limited buyers in some form.

Yeah, I really feel 343 dropped the ball with the Halo 4 LE. It could be worse, don't get me wrong, but the whole thing has been a clusterfuck of small letdowns.
