Good point.

People are talking about watching your body and telling your teammates where the enemy is (I'm one of those people as well that still wants to be able to do that), but whats the point of that if you can just auto-respawn and already be playing again?

Played about 42 games of Reach last night until we all pretty much collapsed. Won 35 of them!

Does anyone know why Bungie thought that everyone on the map needed to hear the Plasma Cannon firing?

Do Dominion bases have to be in literal fortified structures along with "locking" in its team, or can dominion hills/dom doors be placed anywhere?

Bungie had a contest shortly after Reach came out for community map makers to get their maps into matchmaking. They asked for maps for every gametype including Invasion. They didn't get any Invasion maps they thought were good enough.

So kill cams pretty much confirmed for all game modes then? I used to be mad about it but thinking about it I don't really care. Just wondering; will there be any way to turn it off in custom settings? In something like MLG where I'm calling out a lot I would definitely prefer my death screen.

I took Stinkles post about piracy a few pages back as a hint about these soundtrack postings, maybe I'm wrong?

Jeez Ubisoft is just as bad ad 343 in terms of showing content of the map maker in Far Cry 3 and Forge in Halo 4 for 343. Grrrr

More like 3 Forge towns. I'm ok with that. Forge World is cool and all, but it's just too much on the Xbox - and it get's bland with only one aesthetic after a while. The new Forerunner look, as well as the lighting system will hopefully change that for the better.

Don't look at the stats. Reach matchmaking is janky as fuck. That's why win percentages are so high.

Yet someone else pops in and reposts the entire thing. Have to say, publicly pirating material right under the franchise director's nose is pretty fucking bold, even for Neogaf.

It actually promotes less team work because the third player adds nothing to the equation in terms of kill times. And four players teamshotting a single person is too rare. I think most people can agree that adding additional players to a teamshot should be rewarded with faster kill times, but under the 4sk system a team does not get rewarded with faster kill time by adding a third player to the teamshot. A 5sk system actually works better for games in which focused teamshotting should be rewarded which is something I believe MLG is going for. In a 2v2 or a team game in which pairs are more appreciated than a full team effort a 4sk would be better.

So the real question comes down to this, are we in favor of people working in pairs more often than not (4sk), or the whole team working together more often than not (5sk)?

As someone who is completely against instant respawns, I welcome kill-cams because they'll serve as a much needed distraction for the many that would just mash ‘X’ to back into the game and die more.
