Hopefully we'll still be able to do them tomorrow at the usual ForgeGAF customs time of 2pm PST/5pmEST/10pm UK.

Insaniac said:Since I know time is limited for customs, I'd most importantly like CTF tested on Meltdown and Opposition.
Thanks!
Insaniac said:Have to work at 5EST *sniff sniff* Thanks Timetokill
timetokill said:Sorry Insaniac Maybe we can also get something together tomorrow sometime? It'd be great to have you on as well.

Raide said:Sorry all, load of work just dropped in my lap. Won't be able to make it. I look forward to seeing all the replays of the new maps.
timetokill said:... :lol
Damn it Raide, we already did (and ruined... due to my internet connection) the ForgeGAF customs. It's at 10pm your time. ALREADY HAPPENED!
-Yeti said:Damn, missed Customs.
How was it?
Raide said::lol
Noooooooooooo! How many players did you get in?
Popeck said:Do you know any crazy gametypes & maps besides Smashball? I've heard a bit about that ghostbusters thingy, but with how many players are you supposed play it?

timetokill said:Sucked We had two good matches, and then AT&T decided to drop internet service for about 45 minutes. When I came back everyone was doing something else, as would be expected

Rotation in Forge & Excel Spreadsheet - ForgeHubFor some time now I have been bothered by the rotation of objects in forge 2.0. If you are building a ramp that isn't in line with the x or y axis then when you tilt it up it will go diagonal. After some experimentation I've found out that it is because forge renders objects by performing the Roll, then the Pitch, then the Yaw. This means that creating a ramp that is not parallel to an axis can be problematic at best.
Being a mathematician at heart I was determined that there must be a way to convert the angles I wanted in my head to the angles used by forge's implementation of Yaw, Pitch and Roll. After much searching on the subject of rotations in 3D and Euler angles I have come up with a formula to convert the angle system I want to use in to forge's angle system.

Oh thank god. I've been wanting to make a footrace track, but I couldn't get the angles right on anything. Now I can.Pete Rock said:Didn't see this was posted yet, but it really helped me complete a project I had in mind and I imagine a few others will find it useful as well:

There is also a "Reflection Forge Object" tab for calculating the positions of individual objects within symmetrical bases.Willeth said:Holy God.
