Yea, too bad we have to judge the visuals from a blurry magazine shot instead of a high def trailer.
Ohh wait.
Ohh wait.

Hope they don't go back on it AGAIN.
Holy shit, Sam Fisher is Noble 6!Your background is shrouded in some pretty dark secrets...your Spartan will issue a context-sensitive stealth kill.
Certainly not 20 in CE. The biggest number of enemies in Halo 3 probably came during the battle outside the Citadel with two scarabs (I REPEAT: TWO SCARABS). I don't think I could make an educated guess as to how many enemies were in that fight, though.Splinter said:Article says 40 AI enemies on screen at once, what was the max number that appeared on screen in Halo CE-3?

Yeah. They obviously need to work on the mountains and stuff to make them smoother. Like that picture of the cliff doesn't look smoothed out at all. It's just a line and then a drop. Everything looks great, but there is still tons of time for the much needed additions and polish. Grass for example... is just a flat texture in some pics.Major Williams said:This. Graphics are good, but nothing WOW worthy to me yet.
Um, no. Covenant encounters in Halo 1 were much smaller than Halo 3; smoke and mirrors made them feel bigger than they actually were.electricpirate said:Halo 3 ~20
Halo 2 ~10
Halo CE: was similar to Halo 3, unless you tried to do Rocksliders Mega battles, then Who fricken knows.

:lol Nice work Squiddy! Maybe we can change it from "Stealth Action Redefined" to "Stealth Action Evolved"?! Smack it right on the Halo:Reach case!

I'd be pretty happy if they lowered the player limit to 12, tbh.striKeVillain! said:Please, let's have more than 16 players in MP.
24 player minimum for BTB.
Revelations said:What ranks are there?
Carter - CDR
Jorge - CWO
Kat - LCDR
Emile - WO
Jun - WO
And it actually make sense for these Spartan III's to have charged armor abilities with limited usage. It fit right in between ODST and Spartan II. Sense they use controlled injections for performance boosts and such.
Can't wait for the "Fix the DRM" complaints.

No offense, but don't you have something better to do? You've bitched enough, we get it.SecretBonusPoint said:Ha ha ha, have read some of it and theyre playing the usual "the sky box won't be just that, its gonna have tons of shit happening with it!!" just like with Halo 3.

Nah, they said Bungie had indicated "feature parity" with Halo 3 MP, and they extrapolated from there.NOKYARD said:The article did state 16 players max.

Kuroyume said:The spawn system in Halo 3 is complete crap. It's easily the worst spawn system that has ever appeared in a competitive multiplayer game.
SpudBud said:- Bungie have once again made the Covenant more dangerous and frightening, as they were in Halo 1.
- Covenant soldiers no longer speak English, they speak in their own languages.
- Graphics have been improved drastically, as proven by in-magazine comparisons.
- Elites are back, and are more ferocious than ever.
- Larger scale combat will be in Reach. Where only 20 AI at a time could be on screen in Halo 3, now over 40 AI and 20 vehicles can be present at a time.
- Scenes are more cinematic.
- Health Bar is back along with energy shield.
- Single shot rifle like the Halo 2 E3 demo is in the game, named the Designated Marksman Rifle (DRM)
- Sniper, AR and Magnum make a return. Gun sounds are more realistic.
- Fully stealthy gameplay is now possible.
- Assassinations are possible with a knife by holding down the melee button.
- Sprinting is now possible through an equipment like mechanic.
That is a result of someone with low ammo walking by and picking up the ammo that is in the weapon on the ground. If there is more than 0 ammo left in the gun, it can still be picked up.Kuroyume said:There's hardly any info about multiplayer in the article but here are some things that really should be fixed in Reach following Halo 3:
- Glitches
One of the good things Bungie did with Halo 3 is that they're aren't nearly as many glitches in the game as there were in Halo 2. I haven't haven't seen people flying through the air with swords or doing any of the weird Halo 2 stuff. I have noticed though that sometimes I will see a BR at its spawn location and as soon as I pick it up like nearly all the ammo has been used up. What is that about?
